  • After 4+ years, the air conditioner works as if I bought it yesterday. It is a 12,000 BTU unit, quiet, and without any issues, excellent! If I had known, I would have bought 2 of the same instead of the Fujitsu I bought for €300 more without any special features.

Purchased at the end of May. Almost 2 months in operation and the evaluation will be made in comparison with the Fujitsu ASYG24KLCA (24, which I have been using for the past 2 weeks) not in terms of performance but in terms of material quality and the main advantages and disadvantages. In summary, the Midea has been installed in a bedroom of approximately 21 square meters with very good insulation of a dry construction house. The performance is excellent and within 15-20 minutes, the temperature decrease becomes noticeable. The design is a very nice final result with LED indicators on the indoor unit, which have a sensor and automatically turn off during nighttime (when it is completely dark - quite smart and impressive!). The silky mode is also impressive. In simple terms, the air passes through a mesh with many holes and then moves upwards. The result is a sensation of coolness, not freezing, which is ideal for sleep. The airflow noise levels are so low once it reaches the desired temperature that they have never bothered me during sleep. Quite a few advantages :) . The downside is in the plastic. Not in the color or appearance, but in the overall quality of the plastic casing. You can notice it when the air conditioner starts and the cover of the blinds descends. As soon as it opens completely, there is a creaking sound like the expansion and contraction of the plastic, which lasts momentarily (1-2 seconds) and can be heard 3-7 times in the first 2-3 minutes. Okay, someone might think it only happens at the beginning. It doesn't only happen at the beginning, the creaking sound also occurs when it reaches the desired temperature and needs to increase the cooling (it does it 5/10 times). Is it annoying? For some, definitely yes, and for some, definitely no, depending on the installation space. In summary, in comparison to the Fujitsu, my suggestion is as follows: If you are the type of person who loves technology and gadgets, go for Midea. LED indicators, several modes, Wi-Fi, design, remote control with illuminated screen, etc. If you support quality and simplicity, go for a similar Fujitsu model. No creaking, zero. It does what it needs to do with a simple remote control without LED indicators and many extras. Personally, I would choose Fujitsu because in the end, what matters is the ON and OFF. The cooling and heating.

I bought two 9,000 BTU units (for the bedrooms - 15 sq.m) and one 12,000 BTU unit (for the living room - 35 sq.m). I replaced a 12,000 BTU on-off unit that I had in the living room.
Positives: 1) Very, very, very powerful machines. The one in the living room specifically cools the room in 4-5 minutes.
    2) I received the electricity bill and I didn't see any significant difference from last year's bill - about 10€. It should be noted that last year I didn't have 3 air conditioners in the house, only 1 and it was an on-off unit. So, I consider the difference of 10€ from last year to this year, with 2 extra air conditioners, negligible.
    3) Extremely quiet, really, once it reaches the temperature I have selected, you can hardly hear it.
    4) It has all the technologies (Wi-Fi, room temperature display, instant consumption display, height and left-right blind adjustment), eco gear, etc.) and the filters (ionizer, activated carbon).
Negatives: 1) They make a creaking noise when I turn them on and off. It's a bit annoying, but it stops in 1-2 minutes.
    2) The room temperature display is not very accurate (it loses about 1-2 degrees Celsius).
