This year I wanted to buy another Maui with a sturdy pole but unfortunately, they were out of stock everywhere, so I decided to get this one which seemed like a good choice based on its specs and I expected something similar considering its price. Well, although the umbrella seemingly has very good quality materials, plastics, etc., it easily turns with a gust of wind of about 2-3 Beaufort (of course, I use the sturdy pole with it). If I don't secure it with pegs from its edges, it turns every 10 minutes, even with minimal wind, whereas the Maui hardly moves. I won't even discuss it with strong wind of about 4 Beaufort with gusts of around 6. There, I simply gave up, took it down, and left only the Maui which again didn't budge or turn. In conclusion, in the rare case that I haven't received a defective batch, the umbrella is only suitable for a light breeze or calm weather. Its shade, however, is good when it exists.

Update: Eventually, after the vacation, I returned it to the store which agreed to exchange it for another one after I sent them photos and videos. I paid the same amount and got a Terra one, let's hope it proves to be worth its price.

The fabric is silver on the outside and dark blue on the inside. It provides a very dark shade, justifying its high UV radiation protection rating.

Weighing only 1550 grams due to its aluminum construction, which is at least half the weight of similar metal umbrellas.

The fiberglass ribs are flexible and do not bend even in strong winds. It has a particularly large air vent that makes a difference and keeps it stable when it is windy, while other umbrellas get blown away or bend.

The diameter stated as 2.25m is measured with the fabric flat, as is done with all umbrellas. When open, the umbrella has a diameter of approximately 2.05m, which is also the size of the shade when the sun is directly overhead.

When closed, the umbrella has a height just under 1.30m. Be careful as it does not easily fit in narrow or small car trunks.

It comes with a carrying case made of the same material as the umbrella fabric.

With a sand anchor, it will last for many summers. Completely satisfied.
