This is a quite hard soap that takes its time to soften and requires some effort to work with in order to give you a good amount of lather. Its scent is reminiscent of laurel and greenery, and overall I would recommend it as a change from the classic barbershop scents of well-known soaps. Personally, it disappointed me on its own, but I went ahead and mixed it with Mitchell's Wool Fat, and it gained exactly what it was missing to step up a couple of notches. Now we're talking about a different soap, with its strong point being the lather, while its scent remains unchanged.
