The Voigtlander Macro APO Lanthar 110 mm f/2.5 is a macro lens with 1:1 magnification, ideal for portraits, product photography, or landscapes. Its impeccable construction and advanced optical design make it one of the sharpest lenses for the Sony E system.

The three "floating" lens groups allow for enjoyable optical quality at any focusing distance. Photos remain sharp up to infinity from the minimum focusing distance of 35 cm, while the maximum reproduction scale of 1:1 facilitates macro photography without additional rings.

The focal length of 110 mm offers suitable "stand-off" for macro photography and an ideal angle of view for portraits. The compression of planes and creamy out-of-focus blur result from the combination of telephoto focal length and a ten-blade diaphragm with a maximum aperture of f/2.5.

The lens is also suitable for landscape and architectural photography, with a long focal length that allows for cropping and separation of external elements. The wide range of aperture settings (f/2.5 - f/22 with 1/3 EV steps) provides freedom of choice in depth of field.
