  • Easy and fast installation. Now I have internet in all rooms of the house. I get the internet from my landlord on the upper floor with a cable. It does exactly what it promises.

It only functions as an access point or router when it wants to (not always), but NEVER as a range extender as stated in the specifications, and I intended to use it as a range extender. I have at least 5 similar devices from tp link and I am very satisfied with them. It may be that I received a defective device, I don't know. Anyway, I won't waste any more time and I will return it. The good thing about tp link devices is that most of them have a warranty of 3+ years.

  • The application doesn't communicate well with us. I have the tp-link extender and one shows, the other I don't know why.
Nevertheless, it is likable, it does its job and doesn't seem to have any gaps. I don't have high expectations for something that is so affordable

5 stars and few are for what it offers at this price always..
I have used it in several links that I have set up as a router and access point and it has never crashed.. I have also tried it as a range extender and it has very good results..
Now if you add that it also has a guest network with bandwidth control... parental control... MAC filter... several settings in the network and that it does not crash at this price, you can get it with your eyes closed.. much better range than an OTE or Forthnet router.. very good speeds... and with 4 more Ethernet ports at the back, it saves you from using a switch.. so it's basically free.. if it had 5GHz transmission, it would be the pinnacle.. congratulations to tplink.

Note that it does not have a DSL port (RG11) to connect it directly to the wall.. so you cannot replace an OTE modem with this.. it is a router-access point-range extender and not a modem.

    Everything looks good for now.
It works as an access point with an Ethernet cable between two floors.
Connected with LAN cable to a smart TV, Cosmote decoder, and console.
Wireless smartphones and Mac Mini with a full signal in a 100sqm house.
The signal reaches the Mac Mini from 3 parallel walls without any losses.
Very easy to install from the tp link mobile application, although somewhat limited.
Plenty of configuration options through the browser and equally easy.
I consider it to be a pretty good choice.
If any issues arise, I will come back

Very good product. I use it as an access point in a 75 sqm apartment and even the furthest room with partitions and obstacles in front has good coverage (-65db). It is also dual band, so it is excellent. I highly recommend it.

It is good for people to know the difference between a modem and a router. If you want to replace a modem-router, this is not for you as it does not have a DSL port (meaning the cable from your telephone that provides internet does not fit into it). You will need to buy a separate modem. This particular one is easy to install and has many connection options.

It says I have it on the lower floor and it receives signal from the upper floor. The signal is very good if it enters a central point. One must first find the point in the house with the best signal so that it can then be strengthened

The router doesn't lag at all, in combination with a good modem, you can fully utilize your connection. I have no complaints about the range, I have adjusted the antenna intensity to medium from the setup, and I have 4 to 5 out of 5 signal strength throughout the house. Another positive aspect is the guest mode, in case you want to share the internet with your neighbor, and you can also limit their speed and more. I was ready to buy Xiaomi, but I was won over by both the price and the warranty (3 years)
