Βγάζεις τον παλιό δίσκο και βάζεις αυτόν
Στα περισσότερα υπάρχει ένα ή δύο βιδωτά καπάκια στην κάτω πλευρά που άμα τα ξεβιδώσεις σου δίνεται πρόσβαση στην θύρα Sata για να τον κουμπώσεις. Αν δεν έχει δεύτερη ελεύθερη θύρα/υποδοχή, θα χρειαστεί να αντικαταστήσεις τον υπάρχον δίσκο με αυτόν.
