Do not confuse it with the overclock edition, which only has a 38MHz difference.
Having experience with various chip implementations, I expected this low-power card, which does not require extra power supply and relies solely on the motherboard, to not have high cooling requirements. However, I found that the fans start at 1000RPM and go up to 4226RPM, creating a lot of noise at these speeds. I only set them manually because when used on their own, they do not go above 1760RPM, with the sound being very low at these speeds in a well-ventilated case at room temperature of 22 degrees Celsius.
All the previous cards I had would not spin the fans when not playing games and would remain clean. Logically, this one will accumulate a lot of dust since the fans are constantly spinning.
As for performance, I have no opinion as this is the first time I have a card this small, which forces me to lower the settings to increase the framerate.
It has a very nice black plexiglass with a red embossed design for the backplate. There is no LED lighting on the card, but it is very beautiful, which is why I chose it.
I was torn between the Asus Strix and this one, but the black backplate cannot be compared to this. I never considered a card without a backplate.
