Description & Specifications

During a white night, that is, a summer night of the North, where twilight continues until morning without ever falling into darkness, wandering along some of the promenades of Saint Petersburg, the protagonist of our story, a dreamy inhabitant of the great city, unexpectedly encounters a young charming woman, Nastinka, and a rather strange romantic affair quickly develops between them.

Through the masterfully playful and light-hearted narrative of Fyodor Dostoevsky, the entire previous life of the two protagonists of our story unfolds before us, and most importantly, their psyche is delineated. Thus, Nastinka's behavior and confessions reveal the existence of what is referred to in art as the eternal feminine, while the character and revelations of the dreamy protagonist reveal a man who lives through his fantasies, boredom, and loneliness, refusing to take part in the game of life.
