used about 4 months ago in a Mazda MX-3 with a B6 engine, the same as the first-generation MX5, a well-known engine for the noise the lifters make; from the first 100 kilometers the annoying tick-tick disappeared completely. It now only does it sometimes in the morning if I start it up and it has been parked for days, when the lifters have dried out, and even then for 5 seconds and it stops.

In a car with a cylinder problem and a characteristic noise, it did nothing. It probably doesn't reach that point or wasn't suitable for this job

Good but it lasted for about 200 kilometers, then the noise came back. I bought another one to add another 300ml, if anything changes I will come back to let you know. But all these are makeshift solutions and nonsense if the head is not opened and fixed properly, it's pointless. It's not magic and I say this generally for all chemicals, it's a solution out of desperation, not a permanent choice.

It does not do what this particular product claims, I think it is not even worth buying it a second time.

Quite good, I put it all in a Peugeot diesel 1.6 model from 2014-15, with the DPF removed. I put it in together with TOTAL 0W-30 oil. The car has 440,000 km.

In a ZEX14P engine (Opel Corsa 2002), after 600km since the product was added, the noise (tap tap tap) from the lifters was reduced. It doesn't work miracles, it simply softens the noise, so it does indeed create an extra lubricating film. Don't expect to buy it and avoid repairs; it will just help to calm the noise in the engine and make it run better.

It does what it says and helps a lot to clean the insides of the valves (as much as this is possible without disassembling them) and definitely reduces their noise significantly.

I don't know what engineers say about additives; some say stay away, others say use them... abroad they use them a lot, they must know something too... after a few months of using it in the engine (Hyundai Accent 2000 1.3cc), I've heard the lifters knocking 4-5 times, but most of the time they don't make noise. Conclusion: for its price, it's okay, it does what it says... it will do a perfect job on a smaller problem, meaning if the lifters don't make much noise or sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, then it will indeed do a perfect job... my advice, even though I'm not a mechanic... but to save money on opening the valve cover and changing the lifters, which is an expensive process... I suggest initially changing the oil (and the filter, of course) with slightly thinner and higher quality than usual... if we use 10w40, switch to 5w40 full synthetic and drive some kilometers! If there's still an issue, add this product to the engine and everything will be fine

In an old Seat Ibiza 1.2 car from 1991, the suspension was making noise. Sometimes the noise would stop. I installed this product and so far (about 6 months) nothing has been heard.

The sound of the engine has changed for the better/softer, however the oil overall seems to need a change earlier, already at 8,000 km after the previous change and 8 months later it appears darker than what Motul 4100 had accustomed me to in the last 3 years with annual changes at ~10-15,000 kilometers.

Bought it to try and solve the noise issue in the valve lifters of my MB W168... it did the job after a few kilometers of operation... the noise was reduced by 90%...

I made frequent short trips last winter and after a few kilometers, the car made a noise, the engine was "tak tak tak" at idle and when I increased the revs, it became louder and louder... I went to 2 workshops and both told me it was a stuck valve stem... I used this excellent product and after 500 kilometers, it really worked its magic and all the noises in the engine stopped!! From me, 5 out of 5!!

UPDATE: After almost 2 years, the valve stems were never heard again!

For optimal results, after an oil change, I applied it preventively at 40,000 km on a diesel vehicle, it stops the "rattling" of the valves and cleans the hydraulic tappets.

It has a fairly satisfactory result in rattling but it needs frequent use, every other change at most. Relatively expensive.
