• The suggested activities cover all subject areas and are presented with a focus on the thematic unit.
• The points where parents can get involved, both in planning and in implementing the program, are mentioned.
• Opportunities for group work are provided through relevant activities.
• Spaces for outings from the classroom are proposed, aiming for creative contact between school and society.
• The cognitive areas involved are provided in a consolidated table.
• The possible extensions of the topic are mentioned.
• Ideas for crafts using simple materials and worksheets that help in evaluating the program are suggested.
• Guidelines for evaluation processes are provided.
