Athens. The 1980s. Social struggles intensify, the current of opposition to social democratic repression expands, and from the Exarchia square, it sets "fire" to the center of the metropolis.
Giorgos Nikolakidis, with a camera in hand and his heart in his throat, is present where history is being made. And he captures it in black and white. Today, more than three decades later, he retrieves from his archive and shares with us his unpublished material, while the people who were "body and soul" in the frame of his photographs write about Exarchia, the "space," anti-authority, the Chemist, the murder of Kaltezas, punk rock, independent bands, hangouts, concerts...
