The construction is very good and overall very pleasant. The only reason I give it 4 is the plate that goes into the camera which typically, like in many similar ones, loosens a bit on its own and the camera can rotate while you're shooting, especially if it's at an odd angle. This is something that generally bothers me with such plates. But there are different brands you can get that fit properly on this specific tripod.
