    I believe it is the most useful lens that does it all, especially if you are involved in video. It has good sharpness throughout the range and fast autofocus that doesn't lose it when zooming. In low-light shots, you don't have a problem with F4 since the high ISO tolerance of Sony a7 bodies balances it without any problem (comfortably without noise at 6400 ISO). The zoom ring remains firm even after a year of use. It is made of quality materials and I enjoy every job with it. If it had power zoom and F2.8 like the 18-105 apsc, it would be perfect, but it would cost twice as much!

I always have it with me on excursions/trips when I don't have a clear idea of what I will shoot or what conditions prevail. With f4, in low light environments, it is simply okay, it needs adjustment with other settings. In bright environments, it is excellent. Value for money!

    The epitome of what we call an all-around lens. Ideal for someone starting out who can't afford to buy 2-3 prime lenses at once. Sharp with very good build quality, with Image Stabilization. Of course, you will have to compromise with its considerable weight (I wouldn't recommend it for continuous use on a Ronin, etc.), and with the f4 that doesn't perform well in low light situations, but there the ISO of the a7iii "saves" me. In conclusion, after a year of exclusive use (now combined with the 35mm 1.8 Sony), I would say it is the most versatile lens for use from events (where there is no time for lens changes, especially in 1-camera shots) to advertising and landscape. I would buy it again without hesitation.

    I believe it is the most useful lens that does it all, especially if you are involved in video. It has good sharpness throughout the range and fast autofocus that doesn't lose it when zooming. In low-light shots, you don't have a problem with F4 since the high ISO tolerance of Sony a7 bodies balances it without any problem (comfortably without noise at 6400 ISO). The zoom ring remains firm even after a year of use. It is made of quality materials and I enjoy every job with it. If it had power zoom and F2.8 like the 18-105 apsc, it would be perfect, but it would cost twice as much!

    Excellent all-around lens! For its price, it is high quality with very good sharpness. I would like a slightly faster AF (on A7R3). I always have it with me on excursions/trips when I don't have a clear idea of what I will shoot or what conditions prevail. With f4, in low light environments, it is simply okay, it needs adjustment with other settings. In bright environments, it is excellent. Value for money!

    After two years, I think that for videos and with an A7 iii, it is the best. I constantly think about a prime lens, but due to my commitment to video, I end up choosing this one again.

    The epitome of what we call an all-around lens. Ideal for someone starting out who can't afford to buy 2-3 prime lenses at once. Sharp with very good build quality, with Image Stabilization. Of course, you will have to compromise with its considerable weight (I wouldn't recommend it for continuous use on a Ronin, etc.), and with the f4 that doesn't perform well in low light situations, but there the ISO of the a7iii "saves" me. In conclusion, after a year of exclusive use (now combined with the 35mm 1.8 Sony), I would say it is the most versatile lens for use from events (where there is no time for lens changes, especially in 1-camera shots) to advertising and landscape. I would buy it again without hesitation.
