Description

Tyrnavos, located at the foothills of Mount Olympus, is one of the key wine-producing regions of Greece and is part of the wine-growing zone PGI Tyrnavos. Domaine Zafeirakis focuses on sustainable farming practices to create wines with respect for people and the environment. The cultivation has been organic since 2005 and is certified by Biohellas. Domaine Zafeirakis cultivates more than 120 acres of vineyards with indigenous varieties such as Limniona and Malagousia as well as international choices like Chardonnay and Syrah.

The production of white wines from Malagousia and Chardonnay includes:

  • Cooling the harvested fruits for 24 hours at 4°C.
