The Ansmann Lithium 2 charger charges 1–2 Li-ion batteries at 3.6 V or 3.7 V, as well as 1–2 Ni-MH batteries at 1.2 V. It has two independent charging bays and automatically detects the battery type and when charging is complete.
Charging starts automatically when a battery is inserted with the correct polarity and stops when charging is complete. Ni-MH batteries are charged conservatively. Each bay has a 3-LED status indicator, and there is also a reverse polarity indicator.
