Requires a heated print bed and a heated chamber is preferred. ABS is a pure base material, optimized for 3D printing, providing excellent performance. It is fuel resistant, opaque, and flexible thermoplastic. Compared to PLA, it has a higher melting point. It should be used in well-ventilated spaces, as it may produce odor during printing. It requires more pre-print time to achieve the best quality. Recommended printing temperature is 245 °C, with an extrusion capability from 220 °C, although layer bonding will not be as strong.
