Upgrade your computer's RAM with the Crucial DDR4, increasing the execution speeds of all your processes.

DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM memory technology, offering operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, response time (CAS Latency) from CL9 to CL22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory unit.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger the size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with the specifications of our motherboard and processor.

The Crucial DDR4 offers:

  • Speed: 2666
  • CAS Latency: 19

In a system with i5-6400 & ASUS H110M-D & Crucial 8GB @2133MHz, the motherboard did its job and dropped it to a frequency of @2133MHz, so everything worked smoothly.

If you only get one stick, it's not worth it, maybe for its price, but I made the wrong choice and only got one, so because it's single-channel it works at 1333mhz, resulting in being quite slow. So I recommend if you want to get these RAM sticks either because you have a small budget or because your processor supports up to 2666mhz, or both.... Get 2 of them to have both 2666mhz and 16gb RAM in dual-channel!
