I bought this particular repeater for 8 euros. Yes. 8 and not 22, which is what they’ve ruined the thing with. For a long time now it has been playing games with my patience. Either it disconnects by itself and resets after a while, or it lags and disconnects on its own and needs a restart to recover. It has an update, I don’t even know since when, but it won’t accept it. Not at all, though — it has taken so many resets, so many restarts, and just as many upgrades I tried to do, and nothing. In short, if you find it for 8 euros, good for you and enjoy it. If you find it for 22, it’s better to go buy two or three packs of cigarettes and a coffee at the café and enjoy that a little instead.

If you have a Xiaomi phone or router, everything works fine. Otherwise, there is a problem detecting the device in the relevant app. Once it is detected as a device, everything then goes at lightning speed... It does everything it promises for very little money....

For the money (now €7.80), I think there’s no competition. Minimalistic design, elegant, simple. I connected it to a Xiaomi Router 4A and it gets a great signal, 5 bars at a distance of 15 meters from the router with 2 walls before my room and generally throughout the rest of the house. Especially in the summer I used to plug it into a power bank at the village house, and in the yard, where I could barely get 1 bar, now I was getting 5 bars without any lag. It’s VFM and because it impressed my friends who came over, they bought 3 more themselves and now everyone is all set.

It sends far, you just need to be close to the router. The ideal thing is that it also works with a power bank; it has low power consumption, about 0.2 ampere. You can change the router name and the password. In general, it has a good app and you can manage it. For now, it's good. I’m back to say it cannot connect to networks like Cosmote WiFi Fon.

3 stars and maybe I'm being unfair to it. Personally, I found it very difficult to install. Maybe because the store I bought it from (aStore) sent me the Chinese version and I had to connect to a Chinese region for it to work. I have ordered another one from a different store that has the EU version; I will try it and if I don't encounter problems like with the Chinese version, I will update the rating. Anyway, for a little less than 10 euros (and if it works), there is no competition.

I connected to 2 different routers; with one it took a very long time to connect, but with the other it connected immediately. The signal is very strong..(2 apartments away from the router) full, whereas I was getting 1 bar BUT only for browsing; to watch a movie it lags quite a lot.. For its price it is very good!!! I would buy it again

I've only had it for one day. An amazing experience, as with most of the company's products. It syncs very quickly and supports speeds comparable to the router's original connection. Its range is even better than that of an old ZTE router I had. A very good and economical solution!

Very good and easy setup. I haven't tried the maximum range yet, but for two rooms it's just fine.

In the garden we had at best 1-2 bars of signal if the device was near the door, and after a while it would lose that too. Now it has 5 bars everywhere. Even in the neighboring buildings our Wi‑Fi has 4-5 bars.
With Mi Home it connected immediately and did the update right away. It is very fast. Everything is very easy. We are very satisfied.

After a year and a half, it started acting up, runs at less than 1 Mbps, keeps disconnecting, and takes a long time to reconnect.

You may get a little confused during the setup; sometimes you have to choose one Wi‑Fi or the other depending on where you are, but these are minor issues. Good signal in places where I didn’t have any, and for the money, excellent!

I bought two to extend the router’s network to a remote area, with the first one providing signal to the second and with one or two devices always connected to both (each repeater creates its own network with the router’s password). I had no problems and no downtime.
I have never used it for gaming, nor have more than 6-7 people ever been connected in total across all the networks, but for the use I describe it is trouble-free.

I'm crying over the 5 euros I spent. Right when everything is fine, suddenly.... It doesn't give me an IP. For some weird reason, that's how it behaves. It wants me to unplug the antenna from the power quite often and plug it back in. In other words, it needs a restart at least 2 times a day. The app is mediocre. It requires some knowledge. But... It doesn't work well. It doesn't let me change the name and password. I've tried it on 3 phones. Look for something more expensive and stable. It will drive you crazy. Especially if you put it in a hard-to-reach place.

It may have very good range, but it often slows the speed down a lot, forcing me to unplug it and plug it back in. Many times it shows me a signal that I don't have internet even though it is connected. It is not worth buying, especially if you have low speed from your internet provider. I just got it today. At first I did the installation a little hastily and it didn’t work. But as soon as I followed the instructions exactly, it installed immediately. I tried it and it’s excellent. It picks up very well and transmits even better. Definitely better than Cosmote’s router.

First of all, it is VFM. At the price it has (6 euros), you won't find anything else. It connects very easily to the router through the app and provides internet over a large range inside the house. At home I have a 100 Mbps connection and at a distance of 3 rooms from the router, it gives a speed of 20 Mbps. Personally, I find it satisfactory, of course everyone depending on their needs. Anyway, for its price, it is the most VFM thing.

A big advantage is the USB power supply, which lets you place it somewhere without a power outlet. I bought two so I can have one whenever I go to the village and sit in the square (lol).

Simply value for money! If someone just needs a WiFi extender without any other functions, it is ideal for its price.
