Simple, cheap ethernet cable tester. It does the job, it's small for the bag, and I hope it lasts.

It does its job OK, but without sound notification.
I tried it on a telephone installation.
It consists of two parts, a transmitter and a receiver.
It shows the continuity of the cables and diagnoses for short circuit or interruption when they exist.
I also tried it on an Ethernet cable.
If you want to check a telephone or Ethernet socket, you need to use a small auxiliary cable piece with connectors.

It is very good, it does what it says, I have bought an adapter for all types of cables and it works perfectly. I got it to test Ethernet cables (I take online classes and always test the cables) but in the end I test everything.

I received it about a week ago and for the money it does what it promises and more!!! Very nice in terms of construction (always speaking in terms of value for money) and it performed great in tests on factory cables!!! In the near future, I will test it on S/FTP cat7 cables to see if the G (grounding) works correctly!!! Affordable and essential for electricians and those dealing with electronics

1 star because no matter how you place it, this annoying button gets pressed and drains your battery inside your bag. So, you should know not to put it in tight pockets because the button gets pressed and it turns on inside your toolbox. Now, as a tool, it does its job decently. But it definitely doesn't deserve 5 stars for practicality reasons, and the two stars are too much.
