The method for brewing coffee is very simple:

• Fill the bottom section (water container) with water, without exceeding the height of the safety valve.
• Add ground coffee to the conical filter, without pressing it down, and remove any residues from the rim.
• Place the filter on top of the water container.
• Screw the upper part of the coffee maker onto the water container and place it on the burner.
• Once the water boils, extraction will begin, providing you with hot and fresh coffee.

Its operation is based on steam pressure, although the pot produces much less pressure (typically 2 to 3 bar). The coffee you use should be slightly coarser ground than the corresponding grind for espresso machines to ensure proper extraction.
