There is no tomorrow if we forget yesterday. My generation is the last one that knows and speaks the Vlach language. In the last centuries, it has been transmitted only orally, resulting in its extinction and being swallowed by oblivion. This anxiety of mine, that everything will be lost without leaving anything for future generations, made me set a goal to record everything related to the Vlach language through fairy tales, songs, and poems in an educational and enjoyable way. In the context of this effort, with great difficulty but also passion, I collected material related to the language, culture, and tradition of this healthy part of Hellenism, which was added to the cultural wealth that I experienced within my family from a young age. This Dictionary contains primary material with words that have disappeared from the Vlach vocabulary, and this is what gives it greater value. It is an attempt to rescue the linguistic treasure that has its roots in the depths of previous centuries. It is a labor of love, but perhaps it can also be a useful tool for future researchers of the Vlach language.
