Terrible quality, in less than 2 years it stopped working and when I asked for repair or replacement they referred me to the Philips representative!

After a year, the battery starts to die, where no one expects it, it can leave you suddenly out of nowhere. Now I only use it for the corners and not to start trimming my beard because I don't know if the battery will last.

It broke down 3 times and now it has an issue with the battery; for all the money I spent, I could have bought a professional machine.......

Quite satisfactory use, it has various scales, moderate battery life but it requires a considerable amount of time for full charging. If you are consistent and make sure it is always sufficiently charged, then get it. However, if you find yourself in a situation where you run out of battery, needless to say, it will be relatively inconvenient.

It is a very good choice, it just needs proper use. That is, when the battery runs out, you simply turn it off and put it to charge, and you don't strain it until you finish what you want because that way you ruin the battery. Charge it well before use and it will definitely last you many years…. I have had it since 2019

This specific machine stopped working after four months for no reason. I took it to the Philips service center and after 15 days it was replaced. Now, after another four months, it stopped working again for no reason. I contacted the company and told them that there is a problem with this specific series, but they refuse to acknowledge it and send me back to the service center. In the end, I replaced the machine with one from another company at my own expense and solved the problem. In my opinion, you are wasting your money.

First of all, it is dangerous, you can easily and badly cut yourself.
It is not waterproof, the water just doesn't reach the battery, although the motor may rust and the cables that power it may break.
The shaving head is very narrow, so you spend a lot of time shaving.
You can find a better one for the same price.

The attachment it has for precision shaving is useless. It doesn't cut any hair at all, no matter how many times you pass it. The nose and ear trimming attachment cuts very little compared to another one I have. Other than that, it is powerful and the battery lasts a long time.

I highly recommend it mainly because of its durability and stability it offers, but also because it does not irritate the skin and does not heat up after prolonged use. I have used it 4 to 5 times without charging it at all from the beginning, so its battery lasts quite a long time and does not require constant charging. Finally, it is very easy to wash and clean.

Update, the machine probably burned out after 2.5 months of use, 3 times a week... Just when I was shaving fully charged, it simply stopped and that's it. I will return it since it has a 3-year warranty!!!

I have been searching for a good and relatively affordable shaving machine for a long time. I had seen many positive comments about this particular one. So, I decided to buy it. I have to say that it is worth every penny. It also has many (and above all useful) tools, which makes it ideal for everything. It is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it to everyone! I have had the machine for 3 years. I bought it for 50 Euros. The battery is reliable. Don't complain about the 16-hour charging time (read what you're paying for). It is easy to clean. Just remove the metal cover and clean it with a little water during use. It is not suitable for shaving, it does not shave. It has a small head and is perfect for beards. No lubrication is needed, just put it under the tap while it is running to clean the blades. The only negative is that if the battery runs out, it doesn't work immediately unless you have it plugged in. Philips' warranty is impeccable, I know it from a previous machine. They replace it immediately and you have a new warranty for the new machine. For 2021, go for the Series 7 instead of the 5, which is this one
