Tested for the game Rocksmith+ on PC and PS5, with an old Yamaha synthesizer. The cable was recognized (as another reviewer wrote, the in/out are reversed in the ports) but the notes were "sticking" and it was unplayable. It was also tested with software for checking midi input on the PC with the same results. It was returned.

It works very well and had no issues with connectivity. I connected the electric piano (Korg) which had only one MIDI OUT, the computer and the DAW (Cubase) recognized it. The delay is very small, but it can easily be corrected by the DAW.

It may be cheap but it doesn't work! Your computer recognizes the device but it doesn't receive midi commands. If you want something that works, check out the ESI MIDIMATE eX; it works perfectly and looks well-made.

By connecting the cable... The legendary Yamaha DX7 IIFD (technology from 1986) came back to life...
It should be noted that the DX7 had gone silent for years due to a battery failure or damaged floppy disks.
Let's say that its sounds are still unmatched today, which is why Yamaha has added the capabilities of the DX7 to the latest Genos 2.
It gave me a bit of trouble because, due to its old technology, this legendary synth from 1986 required a low MIDI transfer speed option... but ultimately, with this option, the cable works perfectly...
What can I say? I was left speechless...
    Five full stars...!!!

It doesn't work. Not for me either.
I checked it with midi-ox and for some reason the keys cannot all function together. I'm trying to play chords but only one note is heard and I have to wait a long time before I can play another one

It is very easy to install (plug n' play). I have used it with a Suzuki keyboard and also with a Yamaha Clavinova. While it is responsive, occasionally I have to disconnect it from the Windows devices and reconnect it. I have used it with Kontakt, Reaper, and Q Base with only one small issue, a slight delay beyond what is stated by the program, resulting in me having to decrease the program's delay even more by increasing processor usage. It is very good for its price and does its job comfortably. I would recommend it for studio use and not for live performances, only for recording. I would not easily recommend it for monitoring purposes.

Problematic both in terms of hardware implementation and software driver from what I read. Look for comments about the ch345 chip it uses.

In the end, it worked with an old QuickShot keyboard after I put the switch that it had in ext for the midi interface on the keyboard. Be careful to connect the in cable to the midi out of the keyboard.

With the Rockband 3 keytar (keyboard guitar) it didn't work, from what I read it needs some modification in the wiring to work with that.

Overall easy to use and reliable for its price (a small tip: When it's time to connect it to your keyboard or any midi controller you use, make sure to connect the cables in reverse, meaning the in to the out and the out to the in). Yes, it sounds silly I know, but it worked for me at least.
