The new improved edition of this work ("Animal Behavior: A Practical Approach") includes a total of 24 original exercises, six of which are introduced for the first time. All exercises have been applied with satisfactory results.
The ultimate goal of this project is to integrate students from Biology departments and other related sciences into the science of animal behavior with simple examples that do not require significant costs. The exercises are divided into three main thematic units.
Each unit provides an introductory note aimed at presenting the theoretical framework in which they are embedded. Additionally, it includes two appendices.
The first appendix serves as an introduction to the statistical analysis methods commonly used in the biosciences. This is a practical approach to statistics with simple examples and basic concepts.
The second appendix provides useful guidelines for writing a scientific paper. We hope this effort will somewhat fill the gap observed in the Greek literature regarding the science of Animal Behavior.
