I have used the umbrella 3 times in strong wind. It is very durable, sturdy construction, very good quality, creates great coolness and shade, and is easy to transport. It definitely needs a sturdy base, otherwise in strong wind it lifts the base as well

Eighth year this year and the umbrella is just fine and fully functional. It hasn't suffered any damage all these years, it's the ultimate vfm.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I have used several beach umbrellas, but it's hard to find another one like this with such a quality/price ratio. Along with the Maui ones, it is top in quality and resistance to sun and wind. It has a thick 28mm tube, UPF 50+ protection, and a true diameter of 2.00m. Combine it with a hammering stake and you will have the perfect umbrella in terms of durability. The package also includes 3 pegs with ropes for extra resistance to strong winds.
