Description

A tsunami destroys the cities of northern Europe, deadly jellyfishes desert the beaches of Australia, contaminated crabs - carriers of an incurable disease - flood the water system of New York, decimating the population, millions of monstrous worms destabilize the seabed off the coast of Norway, whales attack ships and sink them. Humanity is under a coordinated and massive attack. The basic line of separation between humans and animals has been lost: animals have suddenly gained self-awareness and turn against the human species with the aim of exterminating it. But is it really so? Is there a dark Mind organizing and coordinating the nightmare? Scientists are forced to admit that man ultimately knows much less about planet Earth than he knows about Space.

An astonishing ecological thriller, the biggest European bestseller of the last decade, which sold over 2,000,000 copies in Germany in three years.

A book with a great dose of biology and scientific imagination that offers you encyclopedic knowledge, beyond the very nice idea and story it describes. A friend recommended it to me and I have already bought it twice as a gift.
