I found it on the internet for around 4.00€. With shipping and cash on delivery, I paid 8.50€.
It does its job perfectly!!! It's worth it
There is a very important feature that is NOT mentioned in the product information: This converter will ONLY work in 1080p resolution! It is generally acceptable for connecting to a TV or projector, but if you want to use an external monitor on a laptop at its regular resolution (which is NOT 1080p), then you will NOT get an image! In my opinion, a very basic problem!
Effectively maintains older screens with only VGA connection in use. The included audio connection cable is a welcome detail
It does what it says, I have nothing to say except that sometimes the screen may not turn on, where you just have to unplug and plug in the HDMI and it fixes it
It doesn't work. Simply. I tried it on a laptop with a VGA cable - the HDMI side on the TV and the VGA side on the computer - and neither the TV nor the computer recognized it.
