So the video you see was taken today, 16/9/2024, when we applied the second coat. On Saturday, 14/9, in the morning, we applied the waterproof Aqua Epoxy Primer, after I had only cleaned and blown the terrace with a special machine. After I spoke with the company first so we wouldn't do things our own way, they advised us not to wet the terrace but to clean it well, because there was a chance it could hold moisture in spots we might not see. So in the morning, we first applied the primer on the edges and difficult spots and then with a roller over the entire terrace. (I should point out that on the terrace we had done insulation with lightweight concrete, a material like Styrofoam, and bitumen paper in 2016, and fortunately, it was in excellent condition without moisture; the additional insulation was done preventively but also to ensure that there would be no problems.) After 2 hours, when we could walk on it, we applied the DS just like the primer. It was really applied effortlessly and beautifully; we diluted it slightly with 5% water. And after 2 days, the second coat. In about a week, we will apply a third coat since we have enough insulation left. The terrace is 180 sq.m., and we used 9 pieces of 4 kg primer, which came exactly, and 7 pieces of 25 kg insulation. Additionally, we also applied insulation to a piece of corrugated sheet we had as we went out onto the terrace, where we diluted it quite a bit (20%) so that it would work as a primer for the DS, and then without dilution, the DS again. I repeat that we did all this following the instructions from Durostick itself based on our needs. Finally, it seems like an excellent material; now the result will show over time, it looks very promising. I recommend it.

Incredible insulation! It spreads very easily without dilution, and with two crossed hands, you achieve incredible results. Here's what you need to do:
1) Clean the surface very well with a pressure washer! If you don't have a pressure washer, scrub it well with a hard brush and water.
2) After letting the surface dry well for 2-3 days, and after the pores have absorbed any water, apply a coat of Durostick's Aquafix primer. Dilute it by 50%, and you will still see amazing results.
3) After 24 hours of applying the primer, start applying the first coat of insulation in one direction for the entire surface you have.
4) And here's the secret that no one mentions anywhere, and it's not written anywhere: after the first coat, you will notice that even after 24 hours, the surface is still sticky despite being dry. You must leave it for another 24 hours, a total of 48 hours, to apply the second coat. When applying the second coat, go in a crossed direction to the one you did before, and you should move somewhat quickly because the surface is still sticky. If you stay in one spot for too long, there is a chance that part of the insulation will come off on your shoe.
After finishing the second coat, leave it as it is, and as the manufacturer says, the full curing of the insulation occurs on the 8th day. After that, you will notice that the surface still sticks, so just pour water over the entire surface! Don't worry, after 5-6 days of applying it, it will have dried well, so pouring water will simply remove the surface stickiness. I covered a surface of 60 square meters with 2 buckets of 25 liters each, for both coats. The temperature in the house also dropped by 2 degrees, and the house cools down faster once the sun sets.
