I bought it new (not through Skroutz) and it was broken from the very first moment I opened the box and plugged it in; the panel was burned out, with no external sign of any impact or crack.
Of course, LG still did not replace it for me, even from the first day of the warranty, on the pretext that the box and the Styrofoam were intact. In other words, the warranty they provide is only for transportation from the store to the home and nothing more. I paid $200 for this product and got absolutely no use out of it as a consumer. It is definitely worth someone spending $100-200 more and getting a Samsung or MSI.

An excellent ultrawide for its price, always. Very good colors and image quality as well as resolution. Once you go to 21:9, you never go back to 16:9.

This is the second LG ultra wide I have. I first bought the LG 29WK500-P two years ago for the office, and now this one, which also has speakers, for home, where I often work from. The functionality of ultra wide monitors is amazing for my own use, with many open windows and applications. It feels like working with a much larger screen.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars (I gave 5* to the other one) is that on some rare occasions, when I have turned off the screen at night and the laptop I have connected (MacBook Air) stays in sleep mode, when I turn it back on in the morning the screen appears distorted, as if it has taken the 16:9 screen and stretched it to fill the 21:9 of the ultrawide.
The other LG ultrawide (LG 29WK500-P) never had this issue.

My first experience with Ultra Wide. My goals were to increase workspace for productivity and casual gaming - a better experience. It achieved both of my goals. Much more convenient than a classic 27-inch monitor. I have the ultra wide as my main monitor and a 27-inch LG as a second one, so I can compare it.
Also, quite a user-friendly menu, satisfactory speakers - although I don't use them. Colors are satisfactory - don't expect anything extreme.
For anyone who watches movies, they will enjoy it. You watch normally in full screen without the black bars on the sides, without digital distortion.
I found it on offer for 190 euros and grabbed it immediately! For over 200, I don't think it's worth it though. Better to go for 32-inch 4K or ultra wide 4K if your budget can handle it.

It does what it promises. 75Hz, okay ms and acceptable colors. The blacks are not the best, but in its category you probably won’t find anything better. The ultrawide is objectively its strong point at this price.
Since I have tried other models in this category as well, I have to say that they differ in almost nothing.

It is an excellent monitor from every point of view!
The only negative is that it does not have height adjustment, but it does have up and down tilt.
    Easy to assemble and adjust.
IT IS NOT 144hz; it is better for work, for movies in a room up to 4 meters away, and for gaming it does its job well, but I would not have chosen it if I knew I could have more than the 75fps it delivers decently

My initial hesitation was whether an ultrawide monitor would look strange to my eyes, whether 29 inches is too much for a computer monitor, whether I need to pay 200 euros plus for a monitor, etc., etc. The answer is DO NOT HESITATE to buy it, it is very very good......now if you are looking to get, for around 200, a monitor that will do wonders or if it comes with 1 or 2 dead pixels, we cannot know anyone's tastes, but unfortunately 1-2-3 pixels are within the range of what is considered okay for the TV... In conclusion I am very satisfied and as for gaming too, after all that is why I got it in the gaming version, there is also a cheaper 29-inch one for other tasks....same brand ultrawide.....

After 3 years, the panel suddenly showed a large backlight shadow in the shape of a pyramid that covers almost half the screen. The cost of the replacement part, I was told by the service center, is over 100 euros. I was completely satisfied before the fault, but I don't think I will buy a monitor with a 2-year warranty again. Most likely, I will go for Dell, which gives me 5 years.

The best thing for a 29' Ultrawide
75Hz is a big deal on this display for 1080p.
Very nice colors, strong brightness and contrast.
PERFECT in every way. Up to €220 without a second thought!

Having taken the two previous models of .... now I got this one, it has nothing to do with the other two 29-inch LGs. This one is really right in everything: in color, in sound, in viewing angles, unbelievable for this money..... its black is clean, it doesn't bleed..... for people above average in technology it is a gem!! now 5-5-2020 the price has gone up and honestly it is not worth so much money, go for a 34-inch not a 29-inch, we said .......

The best thing for me, since I'm always in low light... comfortable and very nice colors!!
If you switch to widescreen for the first time, know that at first it will feel a bit strange, but after that you really won't want to change it!!

I am very impressed with this monitor. It is very large, and it seems like a huge difference because until now I was using a laptop screen. The image is very clear, it is 75Hz, which makes a huge difference if you are a gamer like me. It is ultrawide, which is much more convenient than a regular monitor, and it also has a matte coating on top so reflections from windows, etc. are not visible. Its design is very beautiful and goes with any setup. Its menu is very good and fast, and the way you move from setting to setting is the best I have ever seen, since it does not have buttons that are not easy to see, but instead has a 4-axis joystick that makes the menu the most user-friendly I have seen. Overall, for the €200 I paid for it, it is fantastic, and the best monitor for this money. I highly recommend it!

The screen is better than I expected. I highly recommend it. It is especially worth it for programs like Maya, 3D Max, Blender, and similar programs because they make use of the screen's width and not so much its height.

Take it, guys! The only condition is that it’s not for a console, but only for a computer. It has nice speakers, something extra compared to all the others, and don’t chase TN panels, they פשוט don’t worth it. For the 230 I paid, it’s more than worth it (75hz). It has settings for 1ms and its width is just fine, it’s like a 24-inch one.

from a 24-inch 1080p monitor it is a good upgrade, especially the usb c for connection with the mac without adapters ( the monitor can only provide 7 W charging via usb c so don't expect it to charge any laptop.
75Hz is a pleasant change from the standard 60 and for gaming it is very pleasant in any games that support the resolution. lg's menu is simply top-notch...

Very convenient if you want to work with two windows open at the same time side by side.
In height, it corresponds to a 19-inch 4:3.
The built-in speakers are handy; with HDMI, you don't need a second cable.

21:9 IPS panel RGB calibrated Very good monitor with AMD FREESYNC ....
Ps. Mitsos, get this one... for the money it is the best thing for 2017... The Freesync 75hz on Nvidia, forget it, even if you enable it you get frame skipping. Don't pay attention to what everyone writes :) .
ps. It also comes with a little Wildlands gift, Steam Code, grab it while you can .

  • I bought it new (not through Skroutz) and it was broken from the very first moment I opened the box and plugged it in; the panel was burned out, with no external sign of any impact or crack.

  • An excellent ultrawide for its price, always. Very good colors and image quality as well as resolution. Once you go to 21:9, you never go back to 16:9.

  • This is the second LG ultra wide I have.
