This work is the only one in the bibliography that deals specifically with the biography of Cassander.
Basic information is given about the history of Macedonia and the prominent personalities who governed the state, until the death of Alexander the Great.
The events after Alexander's death are analyzed until the climax of the Antipatrid Dynasty.
The rise to power of Cassander is recorded, through turbulent and Machiavellian tactics, such as frequent changes of allies and enemies.
The fierce military conflicts in Europe, Asia, and Africa by the Diadochi and Epigoni are mentioned.
The recording goes beyond the death of Cassander and is completed in the final establishment of the new Kingdoms: the Ptolemies, the Seleucids, and the Antigonids.
In addition, the slander that he was involved in the death of Alexander the Great is debunked, and some general conclusions are drawn about the state of the era.
