I bought it because my belissima steam broke and I wanted something to use until it gets serviced. If you don't have more money to spend on a better steam press, this one does its job and is at a very good price.
Read the instructions carefully. If you read them, the fuses in your house will probably not trip and it won't stay in your hand.
To prevent it from breaking:
Use only demineralized water. Empty it after use. Clean the plates after use, once they have cooled down.
Dry and detangle your hair, apply a heat protection product. Divide it into sections with clips and use a medium-sized tuft at a time.
Connect the plates before straightening the tuft, so that the steam button located between them can be pressed.
More than two, at most three passes at 180 degrees are not necessary to completely straighten the hair. If you have really curly and thick hair, increase the temperature, it has multiple temperatures to choose from based on your hair type.
If you have long hair, it will need refilling during styling.
Do not leave the press in one spot for a long time. Do not press the plates so hard that the hair breaks from pulling.
The result lasts until the next wash. The only difference from a more expensive press is in the plates. The plates of the belissima, for example, glide incredibly on their own, they are of great quality.
I still prefer the more expensive press, but this one helped me achieve the look I want for my hair when I couldn't have the other one. I recommend it only if you don't have the budget or if you want to try a steam press to see if you like the idea without spending too much.
Την αγόρασα γιατί μου χάλασε η belissima steam και ήθελα κάτι να χρησιμοποιώ μέχρι να γίνει το service. Αν δεν έχεις περισσότερα χρήματα να διαθέσεις σε μια καλύτερη πρέσα ατμού αυτή κάνει τη δουλειά της και είναι σε πολύ καλή τιμή.
Διάβασε καλά τις οδηγίες. Αν τις διαβάσεις πιθανώς δε θα σου πέσουν οι ασφάλειες στο σπίτι και δε θα σου μείνει στο χέρι.
Για να μη σου χαλάσει:
Χρησιμοποίησε απιονισμένο νερό μόνο. Άδειαζε την μετά τη χρήση. Καθάριζε τις πλάκες μετά τη χρήση, αφού έχουν κρυώσει.
Στέγνωσε και ξεμπέρδεψε τα μαλλιά, βάλε ένα προϊόν θερμοπροστασίας. Χώρισε τα σε μέρη με πιαστράκια και χρησιμοποίησε μια μεσαίου μεγέθους τούφα τη φορά.
Ένωσε τις πλάκες πριν ισιώσεις την τούφα για να πατιέται το κουμπί του ατμού που βρίσκεται ανάμεσα τους
Πάνω από δύο, το πολύ τρία περασματα στους 180 βαθμούς δε χρειάζονται για να γίνουν τα μαλλιά ίσια εντελώς.
Αν έχεις πραγματικά σγουρά και πυκνά μαλλιά ανέβασε θερμοκρασία, έχει πολλές θερμοκρασίες για να διαλέξεις βάση του τύπου των μαλλιών σου.
Αν έχεις μακριά μαλλιά θα χρειαστεί ξαναγέμισμα κατά τη διάρκεια του χτενίσματος.
Μην αφήνεις την πρέσα σε ενα σημείο για πολλή ώρα. Μην πιέζεις τόσο τις πλάκες που να σπάνε τα μαλλιά από το τράβηγμα.
Το αποτέλεσμα κρατάει ως το επόμενο λούσιμο.
Η μόνη διαφορά της με μια ακριβότερη πρέσα είναι στις πλάκες. Οι πλάκες τις belissima πχ γλιστράνε απίστευτα από μόνες τους, είναι φοβερής ποιότητας.
Ακόμα προτιμώ την ακριβότερη πρέσα αλλά αυτή με βοήθησε να έχω την εμφάνιση που θέλω στα μαλλιά μου όσο δε μπορούσα να έχω την άλλη. Τη συνιστώ μόνο αν δεν έχεις το budget ή αν θες να δοκιμάσεις πρέσα ατμού να δεις αν σου αρέσει σαν ιδέα χωρίς να ξοδευτείς πολύ.
