This book aims to deeply acquaint you with the various types of texts (narrative, descriptions, argumentative texts, instructions) that are taught in the school textbook "Language", and at the same time help you develop your ability to produce similar texts yourself, so that you can handle different types of discourse and respond effectively to various communication needs.
Therefore, following the content of the school manual, this book includes in each section:
- Presentation of the basic elements that characterize the various types of texts
- Detailed examples for understanding the theory
- Exercises where the student is called to apply what has been theoretically taught and to produce texts themselves
- Development of certain topics of discourse production from the school textbook, related to the theme of the section
- Evaluation criterion, where a more comprehensive assessment of the student is attempted with exercises that not only concern the various types of texts but also the grammatical-syntactical phenomena or the vocabulary that has been taught in the corresponding section of the school textbook.
