The 3M - 9374 Perfect-It Fast Cut Compound is a fast-acting paste with quick cutting that removes abrasive lines from factory paints or repainted surfaces, leaving a very good first polish.
It can be used with or without water.
It is applied with a polisher (1500-2000rpm) and with the green sponge (50487) or the orange sponge (9550).
For best results, complete the polishing process with the 3M - Perfect-It III Extra Fine Compound (80349) and the yellow sponge (50488) or the black sponge (9378).
For scratch-resistant varnishes, we first use Fast Cut Plus 50417 with the white wool (1927) and then apply the Extra Fine Compound 80349 with the green or orange sponge.
