Description

Description

"Our citizenship is in heaven," says the apostle Paul (Phil. 3:20). Our life, our mindset, our daily routine, our thoughts, our perspective, have nothing to do with the earthly, the temporal, the spatial. Rather, they have to do with the eternal, the spiritual.

No matter how much you acquire in this world, it is little. No matter how many years you live - even a hundred and fifty more - it is very little. Whatever you do dies. However, how dreadful it is to live from now, through the cultivation of the virtues, in the state of the eternal Kingdom of God, where "there is no pain, no sorrow, no sighing, but life everlasting." This is our relationship with time: to transform it into eternity.

Just speaking about it brings joy! Just imagine living it as well! And this is what the Church calls us to do. For the Church only lives this. It cares for nothing else. And it approaches daily life with the spirit of eternity.
