The classroom filled with twelve-year-old children. Each one was at their best, trying to make a good first impression, ready to meet and make new friends, to become part of a group where they would share many moments from their daily lives. All were silent, with faces full of anxiety about what was to come. A lady entered the classroom smiling, introduced herself and announced her specialty. Mathematics teacher! We all froze. She started talking about Mathematics slowly, clearly, understandably. That was it! The ice was broken. It was a very good way for me to love Mathematics even more. The anxiety disappeared.
