The Focal Shape is the new monitor series from Focal that offers a design with many innovations and new ideas. Focal pioneers in affordable nearfield monitors by combining an amazing design with technologies introduced in the classic SM series.

The Shape 40 is the model with a 5" woofer in the Shape series, which offers reference sound in the studio, in editing suites, to composers and producers, and in any use where the space is not large but the need for reference monitor sound is great.

With cutting-edge technologies such as the flax-sandwich for the woofer and inverted M-shaped tweeter, it offers exceptionally smooth frequency response and complete lack of distortion. The clear midrange and wide stereo image are also its characteristics.

The innovative design with dual radiator in a closed box allows placement close to walls without affecting bass quality, maintaining speed, extension, control, and accuracy.

With technologies presented for the first time in monitor speakers of this category, Focal's Shape series is achieving international success.
