In the series of useful notebooks that we have published for the students of the 1st grade of primary school, we have prepared our new notebook titled "Spelling Index". It is a small dictionary, the student's first dictionary, which he is called to create himself. And this is very important for him, because it gives him the joy of creation and self-activity. Every new word he encounters in his language book and which presents some spelling difficulty, he should record it in the appropriate place, according to its initial letter. To show the little student how he should work, we write him at the beginning of each letter two words from his book. Having these as examples, he will gradually create his own first dictionary, his personal dictionary. He will constantly enrich it by adding new words. We emphasize that this index is particularly useful for 1st grade students who are learning Greek as their second language.
