I received the scissors on February 5th. I did a full charge according to the instructions and the next day I started for the field. First test on a pomegranate tree: some good cuts on thin branches and suddenly on a 32mm branch (I measured it with a caliper) the scissors don't cut!! And another test, nothing!! The blade goes in about 2mm and stops!!! No matter what I did, on branches over 30mm, it would cut once in ten attempts.
I then tried it on an olive tree (for which it is intended). Same and worse!!! Even on a 23mm branch, the scissors sometimes (very few, e.g. 1 in 10) couldn't cut the branch.
After contacting the purchasing store, I sent it to the service center for inspection as they instructed me. As soon as they received it, they contacted me to inform me that the scissors have absolutely no problem according to the computer inspection. They also sent me a video showing 4 cuts on a branch of about 25-30mm (approximately shown in the video). After receiving it the next day, I started the tests again. Unfortunately, the same thing happened. I recorded a video and sent it to them where the scissors cut the 32mm branch once in ten attempts or not at all, while it cut the 23mm branch ten times and didn't cut once. So, I sent it back to the store on February 13th. The diagnosis is that the scissors do not have the slightest problem and that they cut just fine, according to the tests they conducted and according to BAHCO.
Therefore, the scissors cut SOME types of wood and some they don't. Personally, I don't believe they cut any type of wood over 35mm. The 45mm they advertise is probably for cucumbers.
I received my scissors back today, March 9th.
I would not recommend it, not to a friend, nor to an enemy!!!!
Παρέλαβα το ψαλίδι στις 5 Φεβρουαρίου.Έκανα μια πλήρη φόρτιση σύμφωνα και με τις οδηγίες και την επόμενη μέρα ξεκίνησα για το χωράφι.Πρώτη δοκιμή σε ροδιά : μερικές καλές κοπές σε λεπτά κλαδιά και ξαφνικά σε κλαδί 32 χιλιοστά(το μέτρησα με παχύμετρο) το ψαλίδι δεν κόβει!! Και άλλη δοκιμή,τίποτα!! Καρφώνει η λάμα περίπου 2 χιλιοστά και σταματάει!!! Ότι και αν έκανα ,σε κλαδιά πάνω από 30 χιλιοστά,έκοβε μια φορά στις δέκα προσπάθειες.
Δοκιμάζω μετά σε ελιά(για αυτή τη χρήση προορίζεται). Ξανά τα ίδια και χειρότερα!!! Ακόμα και σε 23 χιλιοστά κλάδι, το ψαλίδι κάποιες φορές (ελάχιστες, πχ. 1 στις 10) δεν μπορούσε να κόψει το κλαδί.
Αφού επικοινώνησα με το κατάστημα αγοράς, το έστειλα όπως μου είπαν στο service για έλεγχο.Μόλις το παρέλαβαν,επικοινώνησαν μαζί μου για να με ενημερώσουν ότι το ψαλίδι δεν έχει απολύτως κανένα πρόβλημα σύμφωνα και με τον έλεγχο που έγινε από τον υπολογιστή.Μου έστειλαν και ένα βίντεο όπου δείχνει 4 κοπές σε κλαδί περίπου 25-30 χιλιοστά(τόσο περίπου φαίνεται στο βίντεο). Αφού το παρέλαβα την επόμενη ημέρα, άρχισα ξανά τις δοκιμές .Δυστυχώς ξανά τα ίδια.Τράβηξα και ένα βίντεο και τους το έστειλα όπου το ψαλίδι τα 32 χιλιοστά τα κόβει 1 στις 10 ή και καθόλου, ενώ και σε κλαδί 23 χιλιοστά έκοψε 10 φορές και μια φορά δεν έκοψε.Το έστειλα λοιπόν πίσω στο κατάστημα στις 13 Φεβρουαρίου.Η διάγνωση είναι ότι το ψαλίδι δεν παρουσιάζει το παραμικρό πρόβλημα και ότι κόβει μια χαρά,σύμφωνα με τις δοκιμές που του έκαναν και σύμφωνα με την BAHCO.
Το ψαλίδι λοιπόν κόβει ΚΑΠΟΙΑ είδη ξύλου και κάποια δεν τα κόβει.Προσωπικά δεν πιστεύω ότι κόβει κανένα
είδος ξύλου πάνω από 35 χιλιοστά. Τα 45 χιλιοστά που διαφημίζουν μάλλον είναι για αγγουράκια.
Το ψαλίδι μου επιστράφηκε σήμερα 9 Μαρτίου.
Δεν θα το πρότεινα, όχι σε φίλο,ούτε σε εχθρό !!!!
