The 2nd edition of the fundamental work "European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) - Article-by-Article Interpretation" is updated and enriched with references to over 500 strictly selected decisions from the years 2013-2016, thereby modernizing the interpretation of each article. The ECHR permeates all individual branches of national law and constitutes an integral part of current jurisprudence and legal practice. This work represents the culmination of the collective effort of 11 distinguished scholars, who have particular familiarity with the ECHR, under the direction of Mr. Linos-Alexandros Sissilianou, for the detailed commentary on all essential provisions protected by the ECHR system, as well as the provisions concerning the course of individual appeals.
