"A Few and One Nights," centered around the love story that nests at the heart of the narrative, recounts an adventure in the pursuit of wealth and the quest for happiness.
The book recreates a magical neighborhood outside the walls of Thessaloniki, that of Exochi, which has forever faded away. It is also a narrative about the houses, both poor and rich, about their insides and outsides, about the walls and furniture where the breaths of the living and the deceased are woven together.
"A Few and One Nights" also contains, in a way, its own commentary, questioning behind the curtain about the barren fields of writing, its workshops, its failures and passions; in other words, it is the gaze of the novel itself in the mirror.
However, above all, it is a book about the irreparable damage of existence, the one caused by the most tumultuous century, the twentieth.
