Description

The Call of Cthulhu
That which can wait eternally is not dead. But with the passage of strange ages, even death can die.

The Dreams of the Witch’s House
She had the feeling that she knew what was to follow - a monstrous outbreak of Walpurgis Night rhythm, in the cosmic music of which all the primal, final space-time vortices that exist behind all the worlds of matter would be gathered.

The Intruder
Thus I lived in endless twilight, dreaming and waiting, although even I did not know what I was expecting. And once, in that grim loneliness, my yearning for light became so unbearable that it no longer allowed me to rest, and I raised my hands imploringly toward the sole black ruined tower that stood beyond the treetops toward the unknown outer sky.

Arthur Jermyn
Life is something dreadful, and behind the backdrop of what we know lurk demonic hints of truths that make it a thousand times more abominable.

The Marsh of the Moon
Half-slipping on the ground, half-flying in the air, the white-clad phantoms of the marsh slowly retreated toward the still waters and the ruins of the island, in improbable formations resembling some ancient and imposing ritual dance.

The Abominable House
And yet the spectacle was even more terrifying than anything I had imagined. There are atrocities beyond the horror itself, and this here was the quintessence of the most nightmarish terror that the universe has in store to consume the damned and the few unfortunate ones.
