Owner since June 2018, I now have a pretty good picture of it.
I have had a Spotify subscription for many years and listen to music all day long. So all the music I have listened to on this speaker has been of excellent quality.
1) Excellent sound quality. Very clear treble and mids. The bass is one of the best in its category. For anyone whose priority in sound is bass, then they should choose the Sony. The comparable JBL speakers in this category have excellent treble and very good bass, but by no means bass as good as the Sony.
2) Very good build quality. Nice materials and where needed it is rubberised, both for a very good grip and so it doesn’t move around if you turn it up to full volume.
3) The volume is really loud. I had it at 60% on the beach and the whole group could hear it comfortably (5 sunbeds - 2 umbrellas). The people around us could hear it too!
4) Amazing battery. I haven’t done an exact measurement, but it lasts a very long time. To give you a point of comparison, it got me through an entire weekend without charging. I listened for 2 days the whole time at the beach and both nights for 4 and 2 hours. And the battery dropped to around 50%.
Warning! Something that is not mentioned much in reviews. When the battery reaches 50% and below, it does not let you turn the volume up to 100%, but quite a bit lower.
This is also the only thing that is negative for me!
5) The LED lighting is a very nice touch. In the evening with company, it is very stylish.
Overall, it is a portable speaker that is worth the money. As a model it has now been discontinued as I write this review, but more or less the same applies to its replacement, the XB31.

Έχω συνδρομή εδώ και πολλά χρόνια στο Spotify και ακούω όλη μέρα μουσική. Οπότε όλη η μουσική που έχω ακούσει στο ηχείο αυτό έχει και άριστη ποιότητα.
1) Ποιότητα ήχου εξαιρετική. Πολύ καθαρά πρίμα και μεσαία. Το μπάσο είναι ένα από τα καλύτερα της κατηγορίας του. Για όποιον πρωτεύων στην ακουστική είναι τα μπάσα, τότε πρέπει να επιλέξει το Sony. Τα αντίστοιχα JBL της κατηγορίας έχουν εξαιρετικά πρίμα και πολύ καλά μπάσα αλλά σε καμία περίπτωση τόσο καλά μπάσα όσο το Sony.
2) Ποιότητα κατασκευής πολύ καλή. Όμορφα υλικά και όπου χρειάζεται είναι rubberised τόσο για πολύ καλό κράτημα (grip) όσο και για να μην κουνιέται αν το βάλετε τέρμα ένταση.
3) Η ένταση είναι πραγματικά δυνατή. Το είχα στο 60% στην παραλία και άκουγε άνετα όλη η παρέα (5 ξαπλώστρες - 2 ομπρέλες). Άκουγαν και οι γύρω γύρω κιόλας!
4) Μπαταρία φοβερή. Δεν έχω κάνει ακριβή μέτρηση αλλά κρατάει πολύ. Για να έχετε ένα μέτρο σύγκρισης, μου έβγαλε ένα ολόκληρο Σαββατοκύριακο χωρίς να το φορτίσω. Άκουγα για 2 μέρες όλη την ώρα στην παραλία και τα 2 βράδυα από 4 και 2 ώρες. Και η μπαταρία έπεσε κοντά στο 50%.
Προσοχή! Κάτι το οποίο δεν αναφέρεται πολύ στα reviews. Όταν η μπαταρία φθάσει στο 50% και κάτω δεν σε αφήνει να ανεβάσεις την ένταση στο 100% αλλά αρκετά πιο κάτω.
Είναι και το μόνο που για μένα είναι αρνητικό!
5) Ο φωτισμός led είναι μια πολύ όμορφη πινελιά. Σε βραδυνό με παρέα είναι πολύ γουστόζικο.
Συνολικά είναι ένα φορητό ηχείο που αξίζει τα χρήματα του. Σαν μοντέλο έχει καταργηθεί τώρα που γράφω την αξιολόγηση, όμως πάνω κάτω τα ίδια ισχύουν και για τον αντικαταστάτη του το XB31.
