    This iron was given to me by the Philips service as a replacement for the new and faulty model Philips GC2982/30 that I had purchased, which was leaking water and the steam function was not working properly. This iron had the same problems and I returned it and they replaced it with another model which I am waiting for. TWO CONSECUTIVE faulty products indicate something about Philips irons. BAD CHOICE, I would not recommend it.
