Merkur produces one of the best razors. After all, it has reviews everywhere with very satisfied buyers. The same goes for me, it is a good choice for an adjustable razor. Some people don't like the plastic adjuster at the bottom, but it is of very good quality and durable. Also, for older ages 40+, the numbers and the mark on the top cap make it more difficult for users, which is normal. The settings on mine go at least up to position 10 or 11, which is probably unnecessary and cuts like a razor, considering that you can also catch the in-between numbers like 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, etc. There are 20 positions on the razor! It will definitely last for many years with proper care.
