The battery needs charging every 2 days or can last up to 3 days at most.

Also, I should say that the plastic cover of the GPS case, into which the plug with the charging cable goes, I cut it so the person with dementia wouldn't get confused, because the slot for the SIM card is right next to it and it's almost the same. My experience with older GPS trackers showed me that people with dementia don't want complicated things and get confused easily. So I marked both the GPS and the charging cable so the person can easily understand how to charge it, without risking opening the SIM card slot.

I opened the device to see if the battery was dead, and saw that you can't change it. You can't even see the battery visually. Apparently, it needs specialized service, which I don't intend to do. Since I don't know another good GPS tracker, and because this one is cheap, I'm thinking of buying a new one. The only thing that bothers me is that I have to go through the annoying process of installation and startup all over again.....

εξαιρετικό προϊόν για άτομο με ήπια άνοια. Το πήρα ως μπρελόκ και το έβαλα στα κλειδιά του ατόμου με άνοια.
Το κυριότερο είναι ότι το gps λειτουργεί , δηλαδή δείχνει πού βρίσκεται το άτομο με άνοια στον χάρτη του app, ανα πάσα στιγμή, και με πολύ μικρή απόκλιση.
Κάποιοι είπαν ότι οι διαφημίσεις που δείχνει το app ειναι ενοχλητικές. Ομως πατώντας το skip φεύγουν αμέσως οι διαφημίσεις, και εξάλλου ειναι ελάχιστες και θεωρώ ασημαντες, μπροστά στο καλό που κάνει αυτό το gps tracker, αφού πλέον μου έφυγε το τεράστιο άγχος μήπως χάσω τον συγγενή μου με άνοια, και τον ψάχνω στο silver allert.
Επίσης το 'ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΟ' δείχνει την διαδρομή που έκανε το άτομο, ακόμα και όταν εσύ δεν το είχες παρει χαμπάρι ότι βγήκε απο το σπιτι. Δηλαδή ακόμα και όταν δεν το βλέπεις στον χάρτη να κινείται το άτομο, το app έχει καταγράψει τις κινήσεις και μπορείς να τις δείς αργότερα.
Το τηλέφωνο του (πραγματοποιεί και δέχεται κλίσεις) λειτουργεί πολύ καλά και με καθαρή φωνη. Την κάρτα sim την είχα απο τα παλιότερα gps trackers τα οποία είχα αγοράσει στο παρελθόν (δηλαδή αυτή η κάρτα sim έχει νούμερο τηλεφώνου απο κάποια εταιρεία κινητής). Στην κάρτα sim που την τοποθέτησα μέσα στο gps , εχω βάλει το πρόγραμμα στο οποίο εχει 2,5 gigabyte τον μήνα, και πληρώνω καθε μήνα ως κάρτα κινητού 15€, και έτσι έχει το gps tracker wifi δικό του. Τίποτα άλλο απο χρήματα.
Να πώ εδώ ότι εχω εμπειρία απο 2 παλιότερα gps που είχα αγοράσει για άτομο με άνοια, τα οποία με απογοήτευσαν. Στην απελπισία μου έιχα πάρει μέχρι και airtags μήπως και ειναι πιο αποτελεσματικά. Ευτυχώς που προς το παρόν το Q60 φαινεται να λειτουργεί ανέλπιστα καλά.
Η μπαταρία θέλει φόρτιση κάθε 2 μέρες ή μπορεί να κρατήσει και 3 μερες το πολύ.
Το μόνο μειονέκτημα που βρήκα ειναι ότι κάποιες φορές, ελάχιστες μέχρι τώρα, δεν καταγράφει όλη την διαδρομή του ατόμου, αλλά ένα μέρος της. Αλλά συνέβη 2 η 3 φορές μόνο, σε διάστημα 3 εβδομάδων που έχω το gps και το ελέγχω καθημερινά.
Επίσης να πω ότι το πλαστικό κάλυμμα της θήκης του gps , στην οποία μπαίνει το βίσμα με το καλώδιο για φόρτιση, το έκοψα για να μην μπερδεύεται το άτομο με άνοια, γιατί και η θήκη που μπαίνει η κάρτα sim ειναι ακριβώς δίπλα, και ειναι σχεδόν η ίδια. Η εμπειρία μου με τα παλιότερα gps trackers μου έδειξε ότι τα άτομα με άνοια δεν θέλουν πολύπλοκα πράγματα και μπερδεύονται εύκολα. Ετσι σημάδεψα και το gps αλλά και το καλώδιο φόρτισης για να μπορεί το άτομο έυκολα να καταλάβει πώς να το φορτίζει, χωρίς να κινδυνεύει να ανοιξει την θήκη απο την κάρτα sim.

Ανοιξα την συσκευή, να δω μήπως τελειωσε η μπαταρία του, και είδα ότι δεν μπορεις να την αλλάξεις. Ουτε καν φαίνεται οπτικά η μπαταρία. Προφανως θελει εξειδικευμένο σέρβις, που δεν σκοπευω να κανω. Επειδή δεν γνωριζω άλλο καλό gps tracker, και επειδή αυτό ειναι φτηνό, σκέφτομαι να αγοράσω νέο. Το μόνο που με δυσκολεύει είναι ότι πρέπει παλι να περασω την εκνευριστική διαδικασία της εγκαταστασης και εκκινησης πάλι απ την αρχή.....

Αγόρασα τη συσκευή για τον εντοπισμό ασθενή με αλτσχάιμερ.
Ο πομποδέκτης χρειάζεται σήμα καμπάνα αλλιώς δεν δίνει καθόλου στίγμα. Αλλά και όταν έχει καλό σήμα δίνει λάθος τοποθεσία. Παρεμπιπτόντως όταν πατηθεί το Panic Button το sms που έρχεται δίνει σωστή τοποθεσία.
Τα προστατευτικά λαστιχάκια της κάρτας sim και της θύρας φόρτισης είναι προβληματικά. Από την 3η ημέρα κόπηκε της θύρας φόρτισης...
Από την άλλη δεν υπάρχουν πολλές αντίστοιχες διαθέσιμες συσκευές για αγορά σε λογικό μέγεθος και τιμή, οπότε το αγόρασα αναγκαστικά και ελπίζω όταν και αν χρειαστεί να δουλέψει...

I have had it for a week now and I had to restart it twice because it froze. It also froze a couple of times and despite the location commands, it did not show the new tracker location. It unfroze on its own after 2-3 hours. It needs to be charged every other day with about 20-30% battery remaining to ensure it won't leave you stranded on the third day. The accuracy is mediocre at times, even within the city and outside buildings. The Android application is "Chinese". Keep in mind that it requires a SIM card with data. For its price, it is simply good. Its reliability will be shown over time.

Unfortunately, after 2 months of use with the aforementioned issues recurring frequently, the tracker decided to become autonomous and shut down on its own before fully turning on. It's as if it has no battery, even though it does. On Monday, I will take it back to the store where I bought it, hoping it can be fixed.

Luckily, the device started working again. It seems that a contact had come loose, probably due to a hit. It got stuck, but now everything is fine.
Despite the frequent updates of the Android application, it still remains "Chinese".
The device's tracking still takes a while and sometimes requires exiting and re-entering to "wake up".
Το εχω μια εβδομαδα τωρα κ χρειαστηκε να το επανεκκινησω 2 φορες γιατι κολλησε. Άλλες 2 φορες ψιλοκολλησε κ παρολες τις εντολες εντοπισμου δεν εδειχνε το νεο σημείο του tracker. Ξεκολλησε μετα απο 2-3 ωρες μονο του. Θελει φορτιση καθε 2η μερα με γυρω στο 20-30% μπαταρια, για να εισαι σιγουρος οτι δεν θα σε αφησει καπου την τριτη. Η ακριβεια του μερικες φορες, ακομη κ εντος πολης&εκτος κτιριων, ειναι μετρια. Η εφαρμογη android ειναι "κινεζικη". Να έχετε υπόψην οτι θελει απαραιτητα καρτα sim με δεδομενα. Για τα χρηματα του ειναι απλα καλο. Θα δειξει η αξιοπιστία του στον χρονο.

Δυστυχως μετα απο 2 μηνες χρησης με τα πιο πάνω προβληματακια να επαναμβάνονται καθε λιγο, το trackerακι αποφασισε να αυτονομηθει και να κλεινει μονο του πριν καλα καλα ανοιξει. Σαν να μην εχει μπαταρια, ενω εχει. Την Δευτερα θα το παω πισω στο μαγαζι που το πηρα μηπως κ σωζεται.

Ο εντοπισμός της συσκευής εξακολουθεί να αργεί κ μερικές φορές θέλει να βγεις κ να ξαναμπεις για να "ξυπνήσει".

Τα προστατευτικά λαστιχάκια της κάρτας sim και της θύρας φόρτισης είναι προβληματικά. Από την 3η ημέρα κόπηκε της θύρας φόρτισης...
Από την άλλη δεν υπάρχουν πολλές αντίστοιχες διαθέσιμες συσκευές για αγορά σε λογικό μέγεθος και τιμή, οπότε το αγόρασα αναγκαστικά και ελπίζω όταν και αν χρειαστεί να δουλέψει...

εξαιρετικό προϊόν για άτομο με ήπια άνοια. Το πήρα ως μπρελόκ και το έβαλα στα κλειδιά του ατόμου με άνοια.
Το κυριότερο είναι ότι το gps λειτουργεί , δηλαδή δείχνει πού βρίσκεται το άτομο με άνοια στον χάρτη του app, ανα πάσα στιγμή, και με πολύ μικρή απόκλιση.
Κάποιοι είπαν ότι οι διαφημίσεις που δείχνει το app ειναι ενοχλητικές. Ομως πατώντας το skip φεύγουν αμέσως οι διαφημίσεις, και εξάλλου ειναι ελάχιστες και θεωρώ ασημαντες, μπροστά στο καλό που κάνει αυτό το gps tracker, αφού πλέον μου έφυγε το τεράστιο άγχος μήπως χάσω τον συγγενή μου με άνοια, και τον ψάχνω στο silver allert.
Επίσης το 'ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΟ' δείχνει την διαδρομή που έκανε το άτομο, ακόμα και όταν εσύ δεν το είχες παρει χαμπάρι ότι βγήκε απο το σπιτι. Δηλαδή ακόμα και όταν δεν το βλέπεις στον χάρτη να κινείται το άτομο, το app έχει καταγράψει τις κινήσεις και μπορείς να τις δείς αργότερα.
Το τηλέφωνο του (πραγματοποιεί και δέχεται κλίσεις) λειτουργεί πολύ καλά και με καθαρή φωνη. Την κάρτα sim την είχα απο τα παλιότερα gps trackers τα οποία είχα αγοράσει στο παρελθόν (δηλαδή αυτή η κάρτα sim έχει νούμερο τηλεφώνου απο κάποια εταιρεία κινητής). Στην κάρτα sim που την τοποθέτησα μέσα στο gps , εχω βάλει το πρόγραμμα στο οποίο εχει 2,5 gigabyte τον μήνα, και πληρώνω καθε μήνα ως κάρτα κινητού 15€, και έτσι έχει το gps tracker wifi δικό του. Τίποτα άλλο απο χρήματα.
Να πώ εδώ ότι εχω εμπειρία απο 2 παλιότερα gps που είχα αγοράσει για άτομο με άνοια, τα οποία με απογοήτευσαν. Στην απελπισία μου έιχα πάρει μέχρι και airtags μήπως και ειναι πιο αποτελεσματικά. Ευτυχώς που προς το παρόν το Q60 φαινεται να λειτουργεί ανέλπιστα καλά.
Η μπαταρία θέλει φόρτιση κάθε 2 μέρες ή μπορεί να κρατήσει και 3 μερες το πολύ.
Το μόνο μειονέκτημα που βρήκα ειναι ότι κάποιες φορές, ελάχιστες μέχρι τώρα, δεν καταγράφει όλη την διαδρομή του ατόμου, αλλά ένα μέρος της. Αλλά συνέβη 2 η 3 φορές μόνο, σε διάστημα 3 εβδομάδων που έχω το gps και το ελέγχω καθημερινά.

Η εμπειρία μου με τα παλιότερα gps trackers μου έδειξε ότι τα άτομα με άνοια δεν θέλουν πολύπλοκα πράγματα και μπερδεύονται εύκολα. Ετσι σημάδεψα και το gps αλλά και το καλώδιο φόρτισης για να μπορεί το άτομο έυκολα να καταλάβει πώς να το φορτίζει, χωρίς να κινδυνεύει να ανοιξει την θήκη απο την κάρτα sim.

I have had it for a week now and I had to restart it twice because it froze. It also froze a couple of times and despite the location commands, it did not show the new tracker location. It unfroze on its own after 2-3 hours. It needs to be charged every other day with about 20-30% battery remaining to ensure it won't leave you stranded on the third day. The accuracy is mediocre at times, even within the city and outside buildings. The Android application is "Chinese". Keep in mind that it requires a SIM card with data. Unfortunately, after 2 months of use with the aforementioned issues recurring frequently, the tracker decided to become autonomous and shut down on its own before fully turning on. It's as if it has no battery, even though it does. On Monday, I will take it back to the store where I bought it, hoping it can be fixed.

Luckily, the device started working again. It seems that a contact had come loose, probably due to a hit. It got stuck, but now everything is fine.
Despite the frequent updates of the Android application, it still remains "Chinese".
The device's tracking still takes a while and sometimes requires exiting and re-entering to "wake up".
Το εχω μια εβδομαδα τωρα κ χρειαστηκε να το επανεκκινησω 2 φορες γιατι κολλησε. Άλλες 2 φορες ψιλοκολλησε κ παρολες τις εντολες εντοπισμου δεν εδειχνε το νεο σημείο του tracker. Ξεκολλησε μετα απο 2-3 ωρες μονο του. Θελει φορτιση καθε 2η μερα με γυρω στο 20-30% μπαταρια, για να εισαι σιγουρος οτι δεν θα σε αφησει καπου την τριτη. Η ακριβεια του μερικες φορες, ακομη κ εντος πολης&εκτος κτιριων, ειναι μετρια. Η εφαρμογη android ειναι "κινεζικη". Να έχετε υπόψην οτι θελει απαραιτητα καρτα sim με δεδομενα. Για τα χρηματα του ειναι απλα καλο. Θα δειξει η αξιοπιστία του στον χρονο.

Δυστυχως μετα απο 2 μηνες χρησης με τα πιο πάνω προβληματακια να επαναμβάνονται καθε λιγο, το trackerακι αποφασισε να αυτονομηθει και να κλεινει μονο του πριν καλα καλα ανοιξει. Σαν να μην εχει μπαταρια, ενω εχει. Την Δευτερα θα το παω πισω στο μαγαζι που το πηρα μηπως κ σωζεται.

Επίσης το 'ΙΣΤΟΡΙΚΟ' δείχνει την διαδρομή που έκανε το άτομο, ακόμα και όταν εσύ δεν το είχες παρει χαμπάρι ότι βγήκε απο το σπιτι. Δηλαδή ακόμα και όταν δεν το βλέπεις στον χάρτη να κινείται το άτομο, το app έχει καταγράψει τις κινήσεις και μπορείς να τις δείς αργότερα.
Το τηλέφωνο του (πραγματοποιεί και δέχεται κλίσεις) λειτουργεί πολύ καλά και με καθαρή φωνη. Την κάρτα sim την είχα απο τα παλιότερα gps trackers τα οποία είχα αγοράσει στο παρελθόν (δηλαδή αυτή η κάρτα sim έχει νούμερο τηλεφώνου απο κάποια εταιρεία κινητής). Στην κάρτα sim που την τοποθέτησα μέσα στο gps , εχω βάλει το πρόγραμμα στο οποίο εχει 2,5 gigabyte τον μήνα, και πληρώνω καθε μήνα ως κάρτα κινητού 15€, και έτσι έχει το gps tracker wifi δικό του. Τίποτα άλλο απο χρήματα.
Να πώ εδώ ότι εχω εμπειρία απο 2 παλιότερα gps που είχα αγοράσει για άτομο με άνοια, τα οποία με απογοήτευσαν. Στην απελπισία μου έιχα πάρει μέχρι και airtags μήπως και ειναι πιο αποτελεσματικά. Ευτυχώς που προς το παρόν το Q60 φαινεται να λειτουργεί ανέλπιστα καλά.
Η μπαταρία θέλει φόρτιση κάθε 2 μέρες ή μπορεί να κρατήσει και 3 μερες το πολύ.
Το μόνο μειονέκτημα που βρήκα ειναι ότι κάποιες φορές, ελάχιστες μέχρι τώρα, δεν καταγράφει όλη την διαδρομή του ατόμου, αλλά ένα μέρος της. Αλλά συνέβη 2 η 3 φορές μόνο, σε διάστημα 3 εβδομάδων που έχω το gps και το ελέγχω καθημερινά.
Επίσης να πω ότι το πλαστικό κάλυμμα της θήκης του gps , στην οποία μπαίνει το βίσμα με το καλώδιο για φόρτιση, το έκοψα για να μην μπερδεύεται το άτομο με άνοια, γιατί και η θήκη που μπαίνει η κάρτα sim ειναι ακριβώς δίπλα, και ειναι σχεδόν η ίδια. Η εμπειρία μου με τα παλιότερα gps trackers μου έδειξε ότι τα άτομα με άνοια δεν θέλουν πολύπλοκα πράγματα και μπερδεύονται εύκολα. Ετσι σημάδεψα και το gps αλλά και το καλώδιο φόρτισης για να μπορεί το άτομο έυκολα να καταλάβει πώς να το φορτίζει, χωρίς να κινδυνεύει να ανοιξει την θήκη απο την κάρτα sim.
Συμπληρώνω τέλος ότι θεωρώ πως τα χρήματα αγοράς του είναι πολύ λίγα, σε σχέση με την αποτελεσματικότητα του. Και οι οδηγίες εγκατάστασης του είναι λίγο δύσκολες, και γι αυτό έψαξα στα βιντεάκια του ίντερνετ να δω πώς ακριβώς θα λειτουργήσει. Εχοντας όμως την εμπειρία απο παλαιότερα, το εγκατέστησα σχετικά γρήγορα.
***********UPDATE 17/1/2026: δεν ξέρω αν χάλασε, αλλά δεν δείχνει πού ειναι το άτομο με άνοια. Μέχρι τώρα, δηλαδή περιπου 4 μηνες, έδειχνε καλά το GPS. Είχε πολύ καλή ακρίβεια, εκτός λίγων περιπτώσεων. Τώρα δείχνει ότι το άτομο βρισκεται σε κοντινές άσχετες περιοχές, αλλά όχι ακρίβεια. Ανοιξα την συσκευή, να δω μήπως τελειωσε η μπαταρία του, και είδα ότι δεν μπορεις να την αλλάξεις. Ουτε καν φαίνεται οπτικά η μπαταρία. Προφανως θελει εξειδικευμένο σέρβις, που δεν σκοπευω να κανω. Επειδή δεν γνωριζω άλλο καλό gps tracker, και επειδή αυτό ειναι φτηνό, σκέφτομαι να αγοράσω νέο. Το μόνο που με δυσκολεύει είναι ότι πρέπει παλι να περασω την εκνευριστική διαδικασία της εγκαταστασης και εκκινησης πάλι απ την αρχή.....

I bought the device for locating a patient with Alzheimer's. The transmitter needs a strong signal, otherwise it doesn't provide any location. But even when it has a good signal, it gives the wrong location. By the way, when the Panic Button is pressed, the SMS that comes through provides the correct location. The protective rubber bands for the SIM card and the charging port are problematic. By the 3rd day, the charging port broke... Αγόρασα τη συσκευή για τον εντοπισμό ασθενή με αλτσχάιμερ.
Ο πομποδέκτης χρειάζεται σήμα καμπάνα αλλιώς δεν δίνει καθόλου στίγμα. Αλλά και όταν έχει καλό σήμα δίνει λάθος τοποθεσία. Παρεμπιπτόντως όταν πατηθεί το Panic Button το sms που έρχεται δίνει σωστή τοποθεσία.
Τα προστατευτικά λαστιχάκια της κάρτας sim και της θύρας φόρτισης είναι προβληματικά. Από την 3η ημέρα κόπηκε της θύρας φόρτισης...
Από την άλλη δεν υπάρχουν πολλές αντίστοιχες διαθέσιμες συσκευές για αγορά σε λογικό μέγεθος και τιμή, οπότε το αγόρασα αναγκαστικά και ελπίζω όταν και αν χρειαστεί να δουλέψει...
So far, from a functional perspective, it's going well. The app, with so many ads and poor Greek, is a bit off, but it gets the job done.
Μεχρι τώρα από λειτουργικής φύσεως, καλά πάει. Η εφαρμογή με τόσες διαφημίσεις και κακά ελληνικά είναι λίγο καπως αλλά τη δουλειά του την κάνει.
The instruction manual is very incomplete. I had to contact the SIM card provider company to activate it.
Also, the battery runs out quickly.
Το φυλλάδιο οδηγιών είναι ελλειπέστατο. Χρειάστηκε να απευθυνθώ στην εταιρεία παροχής της SIM κάρτας για να το ενεργοποιήσουν.
Επίσης η μπαταρία του τελειώνει γρήγορα.
It is excellent! It shows me exactly the street where the child is without any deviation (but in order for this to happen, you have to go to the main menu and enter the map again to refresh, 2 seconds of work). είναι άψογο! μου δείχνει ακριβώς την οδό που είναι το παιδί χωρίς καμία απόκλιση ( πρέπει όμως για να γίνει αυτό να βγαίνεις στο κεντρικό μενού και να ξανά μπαίνεις στο χάρτη για να κάνει ανανέωση, 2 δευτερόλεπτα δουλειά ). η εφαρμογή του επίσης είναι πολύ εύκολη να τη κατεβάσεις και να τη ρυθμίσεις. χαίρομαι πολύ που δεν έδωσα σημασία στα αρνητικά σχόλια και βρήκα επιτέλους σε μια τόσο προσιτή τιμή κάτι τόσο αξιόλογο.
