The SX SST62BK from the Retro series is a vintage-style '62 electric guitar that captures the appearance, sound, and feel of a true classic instrument. It is designed to offer excellent value, playing comfort, and tone for guitarists at all levels.
Constructed with a basswood body and selected Canadian maple neck, the SST62BK delivers a balanced, resonant sound with smooth sustain and clear articulation. The rosewood fingerboard provides a warm, natural feel and adds depth to the instrument's tonal character. A twin-bolt maple neck with a 2-way truss rod ensures long-term stability and precise adjustment for perfect fit.
Equipped with three ceramic single-coil pickups arranged in S–S–S configuration, this model offers the recognizable vintage sound—bright, expressive, and dynamic—ideal for blues, rock, pop, and surf styles. The vintage-style tremolo bridge allows expressive pitch changes and subtle vibrato, while chrome tuners ensure smooth and reliable tuning.
The glossy black finish combined with the 3-ply vintage green/black/vintage green pickguard gives the guitar a timeless and stylish appearance. It comes with an EB400/M gig bag, ready for practice or stage performances.
