The most commercial whiskey on the planet has grown generations and generations like the famous milk advertisement, we have all had our first intoxication with this corn juice, perhaps made from the worst oils ever released!

I find it logical for its quality to be incredibly poor, as the huge demand for the product, being one of the first most popular whiskeys on the planet, made the responsible people of the company not pay attention only to their distillation and this mass-produced product ends up on the shelves of stores.

Clearly, having drunk this particular one for more than 10-13 years, maybe due to the incredible global market or the reduced demand now, their name and their drink have suffered in Scotland.

I hope if I happen to try it (I still avoid it even for free shots), I will make a difference in the formulation of this corn juice

Our opinions are completely subjective!! Taste, quality corresponding to the price, straight with coca cola or ice, this whiskey has friends and "enemies". You can't call it petrol and you can't blame it, some people like it and some people don't. But it definitely isn't petrol and it definitely worth its money!! Red is usually used in cocktail preparation and of course, let's not forget that it is the first whiskey in consumption worldwide for decades!! Cheers to whatever we drink!!

It used to be oil.. Now I tried it again and I will say it is honest and the quality has improved compared to before, incredible but yes! Freshness of pear apple pepper and of course at the end tobacco.. Where is the signature that is in almost all Johnnie Walker.. Many will disagree, it's not a big deal. Of course, for this money, Teacher's and Haig come first and then this. However, it has improved and that is the truth in my opinion.

At this price, some argue that you shouldn't have high expectations from a blended scotch. Wrong, taste is a subjective matter and quality doesn't always have to do with price when it comes to spirits. Having experienced the "good" times with single malt, rye, grain, etc., nowadays at home, there are usually blended whiskies <20€. Very respectable and with unique flavors because not all of us are rich enough to spend 50-100€ on a drink. However, this particular whiskey belongs to the 3-4 worst ones on the market. At its price, there are much better spirits available and I do not recommend it to anyone, unless they want to get drunk. Literally alcohol, as others have said.

So I have drunk it countless times as an amateur. I grew up and have tried several good whiskies. When I tried it again, it's like drinking pure alcohol, very strong without offering anything in terms of taste. No aromas at all. Strong on the nose as well, but nothing more. In terms of cost, maybe spend an extra 2 euros and try Jameson or Teachers. Much superior.

  • Our opinions are completely subjective!!
