It works, without any problems at all, for a few days now. Following the advice of a friend, who has been using it flawlessly for over 3 years, I bought it to replace the wifi of the provider's modem/router. After installation, I disabled the router's wifi, as I have placed it half a meter away from the router, without this being a requirement for the AP to function.
The range is very good. It comfortably covers a 130 sqm apartment. Excellent reception even on the balcony.
It doesn't get blocked by walls and closed doors. Additionally, it can be connected to additional APs in a Mesh network. Personally, I don't need a second one, as it fully covers the entire apartment.
It operates on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, or whichever one you choose to set it to.
As for the setup, I don't agree with other users that it is difficult. It can be set up either with a mobile/tablet application (with fewer options) or with the Unify Controller, which you can download from the Ubiquiti website. The only thing you need to do is create an account on Ubiquiti and have Java 8 installed on your PC.
I set it up with the Controller, which I installed on a VM. What you need to pay attention to in a similar case is that the VM should run with an external switch and not the default Microsoft switch, which runs behind NAT and doesn't allow the Controller to see the AP.
Highly customizable, for every use and knowledge level! But you don't need to configure everything. It works very well with the defaults.
So far, I am completely satisfied and I highly recommend it to permanently solve the wifi problem.

Ακολουθώντας τη συμβουλή ενός φίλου, που το χρησιμοποιεί απροβλημάτιστα πάνω από 3 χρόνια, το αγόρασα για να αντικαταστήσω το wifi του modem/router του παρόχου. Παίζει και στις 2 μπάντες 2.4 και 5 GHz, ή σε όποια από τις 2 επιλέξετε να το σετάρετε.
Όσο για το setup του, δεν θα συμφωνήσω με άλλους χρήστες ότι είναι δύσκολο. Μπορεί να σεταριστεί είτε με εφαρμογή σε κινητό/tablet (πιο λίγες επιλογές), είτε με τον Unify Controller, που κατεβάζεις από το site της Ubiquiti. Το μόνο που χρειάζεται είναι να δημιουργήσεις ένα account, στην Ubiquiti και να υπάρχει εγκατεστημένη Java 8 στο PC.

I bought it to replace 2 APs that I had. One 2.4 and one dual band. On the 2.4, I had about 60 wifi clients for Home Assistant and on the other about 25 other devices. TVs, computers, mobiles, ps4, etc. I had installed the second AP because with just one, it couldn't handle everything. I had terrible lag. To the point where I press the switch and the light turns on in 3-4 seconds.
I read great things about the unifi AP and went for it.
I set up the controller on a pi3 and now everything works as it should.
Lightning-fast speeds without any delay.
Statistics for each client and overall everything is manageable.
I highly recommend it.

Το αγορασα για να αντικαταστησω 2 ΑΡ που ειχα. Ενα 2.4 και ενα dual band. Στο απλο ειχα πανω περιπου 60 wifi clients για το Home Assistant και στο αλλο περιπου 25 αλλες συσκευες. Τηλεορασεις,υπολογιστες, κινητα ps4 κλπ κλπ. Ειχα βαλει το 2ο ΑΡ γιατι με ενα απλα δεν μπορουσε να τα διαχειριστει ολα μαζι. Ειχα τρομερο lag . Σε σημειο να παταω τον διακοπτη και το φως να αναβει σε 3-4 δευτερολεπτα.
Διαβασα τα καλυτερα για το unifi AP και προχωρησα.
Εστησα τον controller σε ενα pi3 ναι ολα πλεον δουλευουν οπως πρεπει.
Αστραπιαιες ταχυτητες χωρις ιχνος καθυστερησης.
Στατιστικα για καθε client και γενικα τα παντα ειναι διαχειρισιμα.
Το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα.
Σαν εμβελεια ειμαι στα ιδια με πριν σε σπιτι 100τμ .
24/7/365 operation for 2 years now. You set it up and forget about it, just like any Ubiquiti device. Satisfied with the range and mesh capabilities. Installation is a breeze if you know the Unifi management software. Easy and quick firmware updates, even through the Unifi smartphone app. I highly recommend it.

The machine is awesome, it has very difficult software but I don't think there is anything more powerful for this price on the market. I have worked with several APs, none of them did this job better

I have had it for 3 years and it has never disconnected. It is for open spaces without obstacles. If you want to increase its range (from 3 dbi to 15dbi), you can remove its antennas and connect a Ubiquiti Uma-D antenna (directional and not 360°), which penetrates through walls much easier. I would buy it again. I am very satisfied!
After 5 years, it continues to work flawlessly! As for its configuration, it can be easily done through the UniFi application on the playstore. It can also be connected with a second or more antennas via Mesh. For example, you will have two antennas for better coverage but it will appear as one network. The network switching will happen automatically without you noticing, depending on where you move (closer antenna).

Εάν θέλετε να αυξηθεί η εμβέλεια της(από 3 dbi σε 15dbi) μπορείτε να αφαιρέσετε τα αυτάκια της και να συνδέσετε μια κεραία (προέκταση) την Ubiquiti Uma-D( κατευθυντικη και όχι 360°)η οποία διαπερνά τους τοίχους πολύ πιο εύκολα . Θα την ξανά αγόραζα. Έμεινα πολύ ικανοποιημένος!
Μετά από 5 χρόνια συνεχίζει να λειτουργεί απροβληματιστα! Όσον αφορά την ρύθμιση της μπορεί να γίνει πολύ εύκολα από την εφαρμογή UniFi στο playstore. Επίσης μπορεί να συνδεθεί με δεύτερη ή περισσότερες κεραία μέσω Mesh. Πχ. Θα έχεις δύο κεραίες για καλύτερη κάλυψη αλλά θα φαίνεται σαν ένα δίκτυο. Η ενναλαγη δικτύου θα γίνεται αυτόματα χωρίς να το καταλάβεις ανάλογα που κινείσαι (πιο κοντινή κεραία).

Δεν παίζει ρόλο αν είναι από switch καμερών. Πρέπει να απλά ελέγξεις να είναι σωστά τα volt, και η συσκευή που δίνει το ρεύμα, να μην ξεπερνάει τα συνολικά watt που μπορεί να δώσει. καλησπέρα! χρειάζομαι βοήθεια! Θέλω να συνδεθώ με ασύρματο δίκτυο που το router είναι γύρω στα 500 μ. μακριά χωρίς όμως κανένα εμπόδιο (σπίτια, δέντρα κτλ). Είχα πάρει μία wi-fi-q-tech-netq-2-10m-150mbp αλλά σε 2 μήνες βγήκε άχρηστη. Πιστεύετε είναι αυτή καλός αντικαταστάτης; Είμαι δυστυχώς άσχετη... οποιαδήποτε βοήθεια παραπάνω από ευπρόσδεκτη!!

Μέχρι στιγμής απολύτως ικανοποιημένος και το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα, για να λυθεί άπαξ και δια παντός το πρόβλημα του wifi.
I bought it to replace 2 APs that I had. One 2.4 and one dual band. On the 2.4, I had about 60 wifi clients for Home Assistant and on the other about 25 other devices. TVs, computers, mobiles, ps4, etc. I had installed the second AP because with just one, it couldn't handle everything. I had terrible lag. To the point where I press the switch and the light turns on in 3-4 seconds.
I read great things about the unifi AP and went for it.
I set up the controller on a pi3 and now everything works as it should.
Lightning-fast speeds without any delay.
Statistics for each client and overall everything is manageable.
I highly recommend it.
In terms of range, I'm the same as before in a 100sqm house.
Το αγορασα για να αντικαταστησω 2 ΑΡ που ειχα. Ενα 2.4 και ενα dual band. Στο απλο ειχα πανω περιπου 60 wifi clients για το Home Assistant και στο αλλο περιπου 25 αλλες συσκευες. Τηλεορασεις,υπολογιστες, κινητα ps4 κλπ κλπ. Ειχα βαλει το 2ο ΑΡ γιατι με ενα απλα δεν μπορουσε να τα διαχειριστει ολα μαζι. Ειχα τρομερο lag . Σε σημειο να παταω τον διακοπτη και το φως να αναβει σε 3-4 δευτερολεπτα.
Διαβασα τα καλυτερα για το unifi AP και προχωρησα.
Εστησα τον controller σε ενα pi3 ναι ολα πλεον δουλευουν οπως πρεπει.
Αστραπιαιες ταχυτητες χωρις ιχνος καθυστερησης.
Στατιστικα για καθε client και γενικα τα παντα ειναι διαχειρισιμα.
Το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα.
Σαν εμβελεια ειμαι στα ιδια με πριν σε σπιτι 100τμ .
24/7/365 operation for 2 years now. You set it up and forget about it, just like any Ubiquiti device. Satisfied with the range and mesh capabilities. Installation is a breeze if you know the Unifi management software. Easy and quick firmware updates, even through the Unifi smartphone app. I highly recommend it.

Difficult to install. I have had it for two years. Daily signal interruptions. It needs to be restarted on a daily basis. The worst purchase I have made.
Δύσκολο στην εγκατάσταση. Το έχω εδώ και δύο χρόνια. Καθημερινές διακοπές εκπομπής σήματος. Χρειάζεται επανεκκίνηση σε καθημερινή βάση. Ότι χειρότερο έχω αγοράσει.
The machine is awesome, it has very difficult software but I don't think there is anything more powerful for this price on the market. I have worked with several APs, none of them did this job better

I have had it for 3 years and it has never disconnected. It is for open spaces without obstacles. If you want to increase its range (from 3 dbi to 15dbi), you can remove its antennas and connect a Ubiquiti Uma-D antenna (directional and not 360°), which penetrates through walls much easier. I would buy it again. I am very satisfied!
After 5 years, it continues to work flawlessly! As for its configuration, it can be easily done through the UniFi application on the playstore. It can also be connected with a second or more antennas via Mesh. For example, you will have two antennas for better coverage but it will appear as one network. The network switching will happen automatically without you noticing, depending on where you move (closer antenna).
Την εχω 3 χρόνια και δεν έχει αποσυνδεθεί ποτέ. Είναι για ανοιχτό χώρο χωρίς εμπόδια. Εάν θέλετε να αυξηθεί η εμβέλεια της(από 3 dbi σε 15dbi) μπορείτε να αφαιρέσετε τα αυτάκια της και να συνδέσετε μια κεραία (προέκταση) την Ubiquiti Uma-D( κατευθυντικη και όχι 360°)η οποία διαπερνά τους τοίχους πολύ πιο εύκολα . Θα την ξανά αγόραζα. Έμεινα πολύ ικανοποιημένος!
Μετά από 5 χρόνια συνεχίζει να λειτουργεί απροβληματιστα! Όσον αφορά την ρύθμιση της μπορεί να γίνει πολύ εύκολα από την εφαρμογή UniFi στο playstore. Επίσης μπορεί να συνδεθεί με δεύτερη ή περισσότερες κεραία μέσω Mesh. Πχ. Θα έχεις δύο κεραίες για καλύτερη κάλυψη αλλά θα φαίνεται σαν ένα δίκτυο. Η ενναλαγη δικτύου θα γίνεται αυτόματα χωρίς να το καταλάβεις ανάλογα που κινείσαι (πιο κοντινή κεραία).
Golgothas! I'm trying to connect it and I've been at it for about a day. It disconnects randomly and gives out some error messages. I will write a final response when I have a complete picture after a few days.
Γολγοθάς! Προσπαθώ να το συνδέσω και έχω φάει μια μέρα περίπου. Τρώει αποσυνδέσεις στα καλά καθούμενα και βγάζει κάποια μηνύματα σφάλματος στο άκυρο. Θα γράψω τελική απάντηση όταν θα έχω πλήρη εικόνα μετά από μερικές μέρες.
Very nice software... it requires installation of the controller to play... and not just plugging in the IP and adjusting...
Satisfactory range (better than picostation) but not as powerful as outdoor +-. Overall, it does its job very well for 3 months without any problems or restarts. 4 stars for the value for money

It works, without any problems at all, for a few days now. Following the advice of a friend, who has been using it flawlessly for over 3 years, I bought it to replace the wifi of the provider's modem/router. After installation, I disabled the router's wifi, as I have placed it half a meter away from the router, without this being a requirement for the AP to function.
The range is very good. It comfortably covers a 130 sqm apartment. Excellent reception even on the balcony.
It doesn't get blocked by walls and closed doors. Additionally, it can be connected to additional APs in a Mesh network. Personally, I don't need a second one, as it fully covers the entire apartment.
It operates on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, or whichever one you choose to set it to.
As for the setup, I don't agree with other users that it is difficult. It can be set up either with a mobile/tablet application (with fewer options) or with the Unify Controller, which you can download from the Ubiquiti website. The only thing you need to do is create an account on Ubiquiti and have Java 8 installed on your PC.
I set it up with the Controller, which I installed on a VM. What you need to pay attention to in a similar case is that the VM should run with an external switch and not the default Microsoft switch, which runs behind NAT and doesn't allow the Controller to see the AP.
Highly customizable, for every use and knowledge level! But you don't need to configure everything. It works very well with the defaults.
So far, I am completely satisfied and I highly recommend it to permanently solve the wifi problem.
Λειτουργεί, χωρίς κανένα απολύτως πρόβλημα, εδώ και μερικές ημέρες. Ακολουθώντας τη συμβουλή ενός φίλου, που το χρησιμοποιεί απροβλημάτιστα πάνω από 3 χρόνια, το αγόρασα για να αντικαταστήσω το wifi του modem/router του παρόχου. Μετά την εγκατάσταση, απενεργοποίησα το wifi του router, καθώς το έχω τοποθετησει σε απόσταση μισού μέτρου απο το router, χωρίς φυσικά αυτό να είναι προϋπόθεση για τη λειτουργία του AP.
Εμβέλεια, πάρα πολύ καλή. Καλύπτει άνετα διαμέρισμα 130τμ. Άψογη λήψη ακόμη και στην βεράντα.
Δεν καταλαβαίνει από τοίχους και κλειστές πόρτες. Επιπλέον μπορεί να συνδεθεί με επιπλέον AP σε Mesh. Προσωπικά δεν χρειάζομαι 2ο, καθώς καλυπτει πλήρως όλο το διαμέρισμα.
Παίζει και στις 2 μπάντες 2.4 και 5 GHz, ή σε όποια από τις 2 επιλέξετε να το σετάρετε.
Όσο για το setup του, δεν θα συμφωνήσω με άλλους χρήστες ότι είναι δύσκολο. Μπορεί να σεταριστεί είτε με εφαρμογή σε κινητό/tablet (πιο λίγες επιλογές), είτε με τον Unify Controller, που κατεβάζεις από το site της Ubiquiti. Το μόνο που χρειάζεται είναι να δημιουργήσεις ένα account, στην Ubiquiti και να υπάρχει εγκατεστημένη Java 8 στο PC.
Εγώ έκανα setup με τον Controller, τον οποίο εγκατέστησα σε VM. Αυτό που πρέπει να προσέξετε σε παρόμοια περίπτωση, είναι το VM να τρέχει με external switch κι όχι το default switch της Microsoft, το οποίο τρέχει πίσω από NAT και δεν επιτρέπει στον Controller να δει το AP.
Πάρα πολύ παρεμετροποιήσιμο, για κάθε χρήση και γνωστικό επίπεδο! Αλλά δεν χρειάζεται να ρυθμίσετε τα πάντα. Παίζει πολύ καλά και με τα defaults.
