In King of Tokyo, you play as mutated monsters, gigantic robots, and strange aliens - all of them destroying Tokyo and hitting each other to become the one and only King of Tokyo.
At the beginning of each round, you roll six dice, which show the following six symbols: 1, 2, or 3 Victory Points, Energy, Healing, and Attack. Through three successive dice rolls, choose whether to keep or discard each one to earn victory points, gain energy, restore health, or attack other players to show that Tokyo is YOUR territory.
The toughest player will take over Tokyo on the central board and earn extra victory points, but this player cannot heal and must face all the other monsters alone!
Add to this the special cards purchased with energy that have permanent or temporary effects, such as growing a second head that gives you an extra die, body armor, nova death ray, and many more... and you have one of the most explosive games of the year!
