The story begins a little before 1790 at 11 St. James's Street, where the pharmacist Harris established a shop. One of the owners, Henry Harris, was a surgeon, while Daniel Rotely (D.R.) was a pharmaceutical chemist.

For over two centuries, this family business has served the government and the palace.

In 1938 they were awarded the first honor as chemists by the Queen of England. In 2002 they were officially appointed as Chemists and in 2012 the Royal Warrant was added.

Along with the impressive range of products, it is also the oldest pharmacy in London, which holds the royal prints of the Royal Family.
